Our friendly hosts provided clean, well equipped accommodations. From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent.

We always stay at Jamaica Inn when we are en route to St. Ives - which we have done in all seasons and in all weathers. The setting on beautiful,wild Bodmin Moor is romantic and atmospheric but extremely handy just off the A30.
Warm and cosy inside, Manager Steve and his staff always make you more than welcome. Rooms are comfortable and squeaky clean and you can be sure of a very good breakfast the next day!

Room and facilities were fantastic, great shower, very comfortable bed, light clean room with plenty of areas for clothes to go, owners were the best part, were helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay more comfortable, even gave my friend a lift to the wedding, if we were going to miss breakfast they gave little take away breakfast bag. I originally picked the Hotel California because I liked the name, wanted to stay in Newquay and the price is a good value.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Interiors are beautiful. The dining room had lots of windows, so you can enjoy the scenery while dining. Beautiful view of the bay from the outside deck. The outdoor pool looked inviting, but the temperature was little to cool for me to try it.
If I get a chance to go back to the U.K., I will definitely stay at the Hotel California

Our hotel, the Wellington is the place to stay if you want a quiet relaxing break. The 4 window aspect was amazing, well worth paying that little bit extra for turret rooms 1st/2nd floor,comfortable bed, luxurious bedding, Eco toileteries, happy friendly staff, great food.
