The room was simply lovely, we stayed in Ash and the four poster bed and other decor really made it an amazing room to stay in. I have never seen so many pillows and cushions one bed but it looked great. Once we'd put most of them on the sofa the bed was so comfy and absolutely huge. We ate in the restaurant and the food was spot on and a selection of real ales available. Breakfast was also good, both food and very friendly service. I would definitely return for another visit. It is well w. alle vurderinger »
Stayed here for our wedding night, it was amazing! We were given a complimentary bottle of wine to our door. Food was nice. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The room was spacious and much nicer then the photos on here. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. Lovely location. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!
Thank you roundabout hotel for out amazing night :).
Loved my short stay at the Roundabout. I had a Superior Double room and it was enormous!! The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the bathroom was huge! I enjoyed a couple of hours in the Lounge, with a friend who came to see me there and who was v ery impressed by the place. Breakfast was lovely and very good quality. Staff excellent. I have already booked to go back in March.
A fabulous hotel with beautifully decorated rooms - all modernised
whilst retaining original features. Set in beautiful countryside. I had
a single room which was maintained to the highest standard. Generous tea
tray provisions, didn't get to sample breakfast as I had to leave
too early. Would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable beds. Clean rooms and lovely surroundings. Hannah on
reception was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make the stay
more relaxing.
Food at the restaurant was delicious, very good ingredients and well cooked too.
Location to worthing/littlehampton/ Brighton within half an hour.
An amazing hotel, friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble, seemed very welcomed, would love to go back and stay again, the staff member who stood out with her knowledge and friendliness was the young lady on reception, wish her a long and enjoyable career in the hotel industry. many thanks.
We had a superior twin and a superior double - both were realy lovely
bedrooms . It was a wet horrible weekend but the hotel was very warm
& inviting . They were able to cater for out teenage children who
wanted something simpler than the menu offered for dinner . Food good .
decor lovely.
The location for a quite get away yet easy reach of many places to see.
The Food was excellent an the dinning room cosy. Our room was a superior
double and was good in terms of space and comfort. If you want cheaper
then you can find it but for the money this was a nice place to stay.
It was a wonderful stay. The gardens are beautiful. The room and common areas couldn't have been nicer with very comfortable furniture. There is the dining room as well as a great bar menu.
All the staff was always friendly. We will be going back.
The quality of the dishes served in the restaurant was superb. The service provided together with the general attitude of all staff is thoroughly commended. Room provided for all necessities together with a very comfortable bed. Quiet environment.
It was a friendly, quirky hotel. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. It was a lovely looking hotel and our room was nice. The staff were great and made a special effort to let us in early so we could get ready for a wedding.
The finishing was a mix of old and modern done to perfection. Nice hotel
nice room china rose shower was good room was perfect single room was
decent. Big tv, plug sockets next to the beds great hotel. Fit staff
member aswel lol.
The friendly staff, decor room and breakfast were all superb. The happy hour (or two!) at the bar was also very welcome. A good area to explore we loved Arundel which was just down the road. We would definitely stay again.
Arrived 8.45pm due to late ferry; not too late for food, with choice from bar food menu.
Staff are fantastic and helpful.
Room was large and complete with all facilities including large flat screen TV. highly recommended.
Loved our rooms also the position. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Hotel so handy for various outings whether sea, gardens, castles, stately homes or bird reserve etc. We look forward to returning.
All except the noise at night. see opposite
Huge plus was the owner did not charge us for the night when he learnt of our discomfort.
We will revisit as we feel sure the problem was taken seriously and will be rectified.
Really nice hotel in a wonderful spot.
After a long trip south it was great to relax over a beer and then have some excellent food.
Staff very attentive and room comfortable, very clean and bright.
The hotel was amazing , the staff excellent , sooo helpfull and really friendly , the food was so delicious , the rooms so comfortable and a touch of luxury too ! Very good wished I booked longer.
A real "at home" hotel. Staff and owner manager particularly friendly and professional and made us feel really welcome. Food excellent, both in the restaurant and bar. Our room was excellent.
Location of hotel, general atmosphere wasn't too 'stuffy', owner was very pleasant to deal with, spacious room, we will likely go there again, restaurant was lovely and warm with quality food.
The food in the restaurant/bar is fantastic and the staff in the very cosy bar and restaurant are great. The breakfast is pretty good and the location is lovely and quiet with good parking.
Staff were extremly nice and welcoming. The room was fantastic and the food was great. Nothing negative to say about the experience that the Roundabout Hotel and the staff gave to us.
We loved the location and the gardens and the hotel's facilities are excellent. We found the staff helpful and friendly and our only reservation was with the serving of our dinner.
Hotel was comfortable and staff were excellent - friendly but not in your face. Hotel very clean and room was comfortable. All meals were good, not gourmet but well presented.
A great hotel in a lovely setting, staff were fabulous and helpful especially Hannah. Beautiful clean room and luxury finishes and touches..wish I could of stayed longer!.
The staff were all amazing, couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Incredibly discreet and humble service throughout. Peaceful location, clean and comfortable room.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel management and staff made us
feel very welcome and looked after us superbly. Our room was extremely
spacious and comfortable.
Very friendly staff, manager was great, all of them could not do enough for you. I would definitely stay there again and would recomend the Roundabout to my friends.
Very welcoming & friendly staff. Beautifully decorated room, comfortable bed. Good restaurant, breakfast very good with really scrummy scrambled eggs!.
great hotel good food but not in morning a bit on the poor side. sorry great room but lots of sounds from downstair hard to sleep if your in room 107 106.
We thought the refurbishment of the hotel was excellent. Very comfortable and relaxed. We chose the hotel as we were attending a wedding in Pulborough.
The buildings were lovely, and the atmosphere very good. The surroundings were peaceful with no road noise and the food in the restaurant was excellent.
Beautiful country hotel full of character. We found our room clean and warm. Delicious breakfast served by kind and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
It was a charming hotel in a beautiful surroundings. The food in the restaurant is very good and worth a visit. Most of the staff were very helpful.
Everything. We expect to be in the area again in due course, and would use the hotel again assuming similar discounted room rates are available.
A most agreeable small hotel in a quiet spot nowhere near a roundabout. Good food. The staff were particularly pleasant. Ample parking.
very clean staff excellent breakfast excellent room super great shower & tv. bed very comfortable super hotel would always stay again.
Excellent location, friendly but not intrusive staff. Excellent service throughout the day. Staff were knowledgeable. Food excllent too.
We have stayed before and use this hotel to relax and have time to
ourselves. The staff are attentive the accommodation always excellent.
We had a lovely but short stay here, staff where fabulous and accommodated our late arrival. Lovely setting in pulborough hidden gem.
This a a lovely little gem of a hotel made all the more special by the helpful and friendly attitude of each single member of staff.
Friendly efficient staff. Excellent, spacious, room. Excellent restaurant. Hotel in quiet country location on edge of Sourh Downs.
The bed was amazing, so comfortable. Food was delicious. Staff were extremely accommodating. Will definitely have a return visit.
Courteous staff, particularly Hannah, who greeted us upon arrival and was very informative about the hotel and surrounding area.
Four post bed. Very clean and modern bathroom.
Excellent rural location, friendly, helpful staff. Good full English breakfast.
Staff went above and beyond to facilitate our stay.Food was excellent!Lovely Hotel.Well run.Bedroom was very comfortable.
Nice friendly welcome.
Lovely evening dinner.
Very comfortable bed.
Great location for Brighton and Arundel especially.
The tranquillity, a kind of a manor house, very good kitchen which was English but with a touch of French quisine.
Peaceful and friendly
Good value
Excellent room--very comfotable bed--Room 101
All staff friendly and efficient.
Friendly & helpful staff, excellent value for money, clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
I wanted to check out around 9 am, but I had to wait around 20 min to actually get someone at the reception. That needs improving.
Breakfast staff member hadn't a clue about who were sitting at the
tables. This often got her very flustered and led to a lot of guests
having to get up and find her to order food/drink.
No bottled water in room as advertised
It's a minor niggle in an otherwise charming pub/hotel.
I don't like lino on bathroom floors although it was modern and
clean. I thought there might be more to Pulborough but there are very
few shops same in Storrington - a bit tumbleweed blowing up the road
type place . You are unlikely to meet anyone you know so gret hotel for
an affair I suppose.
Room temperature was excessive, radiator could not be controlled.
Only issue was the heat in the room was unbearable but was one of the
hottest weeks in the uk.
The evening meal in the restaurant although very tasty the portions were small, presentation was lacking and therefore we felt extremely overpriced. Breakfast however was superb.
Nothing.
Breakfasts not as good as some B & Bs we have stayed at, no museli, or baked beans or fried bread offered with the cooked selection. Lunch and bar menus not a lot of variety - lunch the same menu as last year.
The room we were in was over the very noisy cooling system so we did not sleep at all !.
Perhaps a mini bar in room would have been nice.
Room was a bit dusty although generally clean, the lounge areas did not have traditional country sofas to rest (like there used to be years ago) in but low uncomfortable chairs.
I had stayed once before in a superior room but this time I was in one of the rooms in an outbuilding which was very noisy from the road immediately behind and the hotels store room which was next door. Bathroom wasn't heated and was cold and there's the usual obsession these days with a mass of cushions on the bed and too much furniture. Breakfast is from 07:30 and should start earlier in the week but i'm back there on Wednesday night so I must like the place.
In the room that we stayed in, when we turned the radiator off, there was water leaking out of it. Before we noticed it leaked on to the cushions and curtian. This made me a bit anxious about what to do, but that it the only negative about our experience that we had.
We sat for dinner at 8:15 pm as requested; we were finally served at nearly 9:30 pm. and didn't finish eating until 11:15 pm. by which time the staff were wanting to lay breakfast. The shortage of staff was not an adequate excuse in this otherwise excellent hotel.
Hot pipes running from floor to ceiling in the bathroom, which almost made it uncomfortable to be in - but probably very good in the wintertime!
Could possibly have more vegetarian choice on menu. Also, breakfast menu said veggie sausages available if ordered the night before but how do you know this until you sit down & read the menu in the morning!!.
sounds from downstair hard to sleep if your in room 107 106.
The staff in the mornings at breakfast time were a bit lax. We had to keep asking for things but over all not too bad. We did not eat in the hotel at night. We felt the choices were a bit expensive for us.
We had to wait quite a long time for our dinner and between courses, but it was worth it as the food was very good.
The standard room was small with a slopping roof. We had a problem with the hot water, and were eventually moved to a superior room.
Very minor point, but the shower door plastic bottom edging looks as if it may need to be replaced (room 2). The taps took a little time to get used to, but their operation was fully explained to us upon arrival.
Nothing.
none.
The fact we had to leave !!!!!.
Nothing that we didn't like.
Breakfast fairly small. No "refills" on breakfast coffee. However, breakfast was of high quality and service good.
If I had to choose something to whinge about then, and I talking gun to my head, then a new shower head would have been nice.
No fridge in bedroom.
Nothing really!.
Single room in outer accommodation does not have sufficient soundproofing between rooms. Even the stirring of a tea cup can easily be heard let alone the snoring occupants!.
Wi-Fi not well accessible.
