  We stayed at lazy waves for a couple of night, The owners was great supplied information where to eat and where to visit. Breakfast was excellent and nice and fresh dining area is very cosy. Our room was fantastic looking straight over at the sea they even supplied binoculars in the room nice quite road and there is benches just across the road an... hva folk sier » d you can sit there and take all the beautiful views in. If we come back to visit Newquay we would stay here. Thanks for making our stay comfortable. - the peace and quiet and fantastic view from the room, the delicious home-made granola and door-step granary toast for breakfast, nice little touches like current magazines, binoculars and beach games to borrow, the local knowledge, freshly baked cakes and friendly service provided by the proprietors

  We like our stay at Geckos Rest,from the moment we got no the car park,John was there to help with luggage.They explain where best to go and the place they enjoy dinning.They lend us an iron which was not in the package and even save us from having take away on my wife birthday after she lost a button from the middle of her dress.Well done to Amy ... hva folk sier » for doing her research because she had a sewing kit ready with every colour thread to fix this button and any other mending issues.The room was clean - Genuinely the best guest house we've ever stayed in. Excellent location, easy walk to newquay centre, fistral beach or other beaches. Accommodation is modern, very clean and lacks nothing. Breakfast was to the standard of any five star hotel that we've stayed in. The owners are very pleasant and cannot do enough to please. Even our teens enjoyed it here, the modern living room has Wii and Xbox , its all just very well thought out. We will be booking again. The rooms with sea views are worth a s

  One of the best experiences staying in a bed and breakfast I have had. Right from our arrival we were greeted by Jilly who proved to be a fountain of local knowledge for dining, walks and nightlife.
