Due to the tram system in Manchester, we found it easy to travel from this hotel to the (Manchester) city centre in 10mins or less due to the hotel being situated at the Salford Quays. The hotel was being refurbished at the time of our stay & we were both impressed with the rooms for such a budget hotel on how clean & organised it was run.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room had a shower in it right next to the bed with air holes and as a female staying with two male friends I didn't feel comfortable, the staff were so happy to move us to a bigger room with a seperate shower room. The parking is only £3 per day which is very cheap and the hotel is very close to the tram into Manchester city centre.

The hotel is ideally situated just between the very city centre and the universities, it's walking distance from major Manchester sites. The room was comfortable, clean and had tea facilities. location was perfect. rooms were clean and comfortable. and the staff were exceptional especially Claire on reception who helped us when we needed an email printing off with our concert tickets on it. she also helped us with advice re travelling around manchester and gave us information about shops, restaurants etc. she really is an asset to this hotel and nothing was too much trouble for her.

Good location: walking distance to the Piccadilly Station (about 15 mins, free bus runs on this route), close to the shopping district (about 10 mins). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked us a taxi when asked. We ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was good value for money and excellent portion sizes. We also had breakfast which was great value for money. The room was basic but all we required. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean.

We got a great deal. The staff were very helpful, the 24 hour reception was very reassuring as it meant you could always get help with issues if any arose. Our property was safely secured in the room and they had a good luggage storage facility that was very useful for when we wanted to get out and see the city before and after checking in. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was functional, you couldn't ask for more in terms of value for money and I'd strongly recommend this hotel to anyon
