Due to the tram system in Manchester, we found it easy to travel from this hotel to the (Manchester) city centre in 10mins or less due to the hotel being situated at the Salford Quays. The hotel was being refurbished at the time of our stay & we were both impressed with the rooms for such a budget hotel on how clean & organised it was run.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room had a shower in it right next to the bed with air holes and as a female staying with two male friends I didn't feel comfortable, the staff were so happy to move us to a bigger room with a seperate shower room. The parking is only £3 per day which is very cheap and the hotel is very close to the tram into Manchester city centre.

Big and clean room. Complimentaru fair trade coffee, tea,chicolate. In the clean big bathroom there were even body lotions! Breakfast rich and plentiful. A real bargain for this price. I will go again!

The hotel is ideally situated just between the very city centre and the universities, it's walking distance from major Manchester sites. The room was comfortable, clean and had tea facilities. location was perfect. rooms were clean and comfortable. and the staff were exceptional especially Claire on reception who helped us when we needed an email printing off with our concert tickets on it. she also helped us with advice re travelling around manchester and gave us information about shops, restaurants etc. she really is an asset to this hotel and nothing was too much trouble for her.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked us a taxi when asked. We ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was good value for money and excellent portion sizes. We also had breakfast which was great value for money. The room was basic but all we required. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean.

Everything but you do need a car to get to every where. Very Nice Staff and Location and really impressed with the quality of facilities.We stayed at the Brittania Hotel Manchester for 3 Days prior and it was more expensive and did not compare with the quality of simple things like fitting and Bathroom layout.

Britannia Sachas Hotel ligger veldig sentralt med gangavstand til alle fasiliteter. I tillegg var det et hotel med lite støy. Servicen på hotellet var også veldig bra. Maten nydelig. - God service, god lokalisering, bra med fasiliteter som sauna, treningsrom etc.

6 of us stayed at the lodge for the Magic weekend at Etihad stadium. We all feel that the valve for money here was excellent. The staff were some of the very best and polite staff we had come across for a while. They really were helpful. The men of which they were 4 were made up with the quality of food that was served up at the buffet breakfast. Very nicely cooked well stocked all you can eat and drink breakfast included in the price. We will definitely recommend an stay here again.

The hotel is a half an hour (very slow journey) bus ride from the city centre but I did get to see another part of Manchester, which I wouldn't have otherwise done. The very quick train from the city centre to Guide Bridge is 6 minutes and the hotel is 15 mins' walk from the station. Not having to dash about (as I do most days), I rather liked the chance to stretch my legs so the initial off-the-beaten track impression was in the end favourable.
