Originally a mill house, Lulworth Lodge is just metres from a stunning bay and the picturesque Jurassic Coast. It has free WiFi in the lounge, and there is free parking in the main Lulworth Cove car park, around 100 metres from the building. Rooms at Lulworth Lodge are hand-finished and come with their own en-suite bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Guests can relax in the light and airy shared lounge. Lulworth Lodge boasts an impressive terrace, with a unique boat BBQ and fantastic sea views. As well as a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day, 3 course dinner and pack lunches are available to all guests, upon request. Lulworth Lodge offers Gluten free meals and is accredited by Coeliac UK. All meals are based around the ski chalet format where all guest are encouraged to enjoy a sociable eating experience together. Lulworth Lodge is situated on the Jurassic Coast, and you can enjoy the beautiful World Heritage beaches or take a walk through the nearby woods. The Museum of Jurassic Marine Life is just 2 minutes’ walk from the building. The property welcomes walkers and outdoor enthusiasts and there is a boot room for guest use.

The view from our bedroom window was amazing; we looked straight out through Lulworth Cove to the sea! We hadn't expected this, and when we walked in we were blown away. The room was much nicer than the photos. It was nicely done up and shower room, although small, had a fab hot shower. The staff were good and food top class. We loved this place and will definitely go back. A great change from run of the mill chain hotels.

I asked hotel to put baloons and fizz in the room, which they did along with some unexpected strawberries.. this was a lovely touch and we were very pleased. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was of a high standard and the rooms well appointed. They have an excellent restaurant serving a variety of local fish and international dishes. One thing for sure is that we will definitely be returning!!. Staff very helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. They made soya milk available to me. My room had lovely view of sea and was very private (was in the boathouse). Being a stone's throw from the beach, feeling at the centre of things. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was to a high standard and the views were spectacular. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Beautiful place to escape. The Mill House is really central for all that Lulworth and the surrounding area has to offer. The breakfasts, cooked to order, were excellent. A peaceful retreat. Excellent location very close to the sea. Comfortable bed. Perfectly clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant. Close to beach and walking, some very spectacular scenery. Very good breakfast. Very relaxing stay. All is good. The food, the place, the room confort. Escape from the world Paradise location. Great location fantastic food nice clean rooms. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the restaurant was good. The restaurant staff were helpful and we had a good lunch on the terrace the next day. The staff were very good. The room was very clean (Though trying to get the correct temperature for shower was daunting!). The views were fantastic of the cove. Staff and food. The location of the hotel. location. Flowera on the tables could have been replaced a day earlier - minor point. That we couldn't stay longer,!!. Car park quite a way from my room (staff did help with luggage). Car got covered in dust from car park which was very dry & had to have it cleaned after I left. Lot of hammering in the pipework to my bathroom due to water pump pumping up the water. There was an electrical fire that couldn't be helped but we had to be relocated, and after the high standards of Mill house, nothing else was good enough :( will be revisiting mill house soon :). We stayed in the, admittedly very comfortable, "Boat House" and the wifi didn't reach there. However, we were on holiday, so no big deal!. Bathroom rather old-fashioned (in need on renovation) and small. Instant coffee at breakfast was the only lapse in otherwise excellent food (fresh coffee provided on request). Erratic television reception. No evening meal available at the time due to lack of chef. The weather at the time was pretty awful. Abusive kids coming in to the restaurant in the evening. Bottles and glasses not being taken away from outside tables for at least 24 hours. Litter in garden. Car parking arrangement. For a 'superior' room, bathroom is extremely cramped.s. no parking had to leave car in public car park but they do give you a permit so you don't have to pay. We were given room no. 11 which was a disappointment. It was very small with the view of a blank wall. Worst of all it was above a very noisy extractor fan. We asked to change rooms but there were no others available. Nor would they give us a discount (£99 per night). Our friends had a better room but as they were replacing the windows at the time there was a gap between the exterior wall and the window frame. Luckily the weather was good!. Due to lack of "senior" staff, the resturant and bar were closed so we had to go out for meal and drinks. In fact, the hotel appeared to be "closed" for the night as no one was on duty. So, in theory. Due to the lack on on-site facilities our stay was akin to a poor B&B. And a very, very expensive B&B at £129 for one night. No proper heating system, just portable units, noisy plumbing. We were in The Boathouse the weather was unseasonabaly cold, the plumbing was badly done, noisy pump, which also was being used by other users on lower floor, we kept warm by using two extra heaters taken from second (unused) room. PS (We are HF Holiday Members). The staff where rude and abrupt. They expected guests to be aware of the facilities etc. No parking pass was sent via email, when was meant too. When we reported this at reception we were met with rudeness. The rooms are very small for the price. The showers had 2 temperatures, scalding hot or ice cold. Tv had 3 channels that worked, dont advertise satelitte tv if the channels do not work. very expensive tv reception poor breakfast at 0830 to late no plug in bath. letsbookhotel.com let us down. When we arrived no room available and to make matters worse our requests to letsbookhotel.com to look in to this are being ignored. A true disgrace!.
