  As a female solo traveller I felt very safe at this hotel which was important to me. I arrived at Wimbledon station and the hotel was very easy to find from there and only a few minutes walk. The lady on reception was very good and informative and even carried my case to my room which was ready even though I had arrived before the official check ... hva folk sier » in time. My room was a small single with a shared bathroom - I knew this when I booked. The bathroom was only shared with the staff and so this was no - The hotel was so convenient for the centre of Wimbledon. I was able to walk to the hotel from the station, so no bother with taxis or buses. My room, although quite small, was comfortable with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, combined with the coffee making facilities and a tv I had all I needed for my stay. The breakfast was charged as an extra but it was well worth it. There was a choice of cereal and juices, tea or coffee, toast and any or all of egg, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked
