Everything is just perfect from the moment you step through the door.
The room we had was fabulous - they had taken note of what my husband
had said on the booking form - that it was a birthday treat - and as a
result we were upgraded, got a birthday card from the management and

My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's
vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a
quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.

Location: Great!!! Within 10 minutes walk from Liverpool station when
figure out the way and actually another station Moorgate is just around
the corner. With marks and spender just opposite to the hotel, it makes
it more perfect! As can buy snacks / bottle water easily on our way
back to hotel. :)

Perfect location for New Year, everything in walking distance, close to Trafalgar Square, easy access to Embankment for fireworks and New Year day parade passed front door...not to mention the hotel festivities, plenty going on in a stylish, refined way. We stayed at the hotel for my husband's 50th birthday. He is keen on trains so I requested, and got, a room overlooking the station. He was in his element. We arrived at 1pm and went in to drop our bags off but the staff were able to check us into our room which was a bonus. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Would definitely stay agai

The hotel itself is the star of the show...beautiful restoration.....it is like walking around a film set! Spa area is nice ...we swam early in the morning and had the pool to ourselves...but it IS small! Breakfast was included in our stay and it was fab! Great ambience and relaxing area to sit/eat...also lovely selection of food to choose from.

Staff was exceptional, I have never experienced such seamless service.
Housekeeping kept our room spotless. The housekeeper even offered to have a humidifier brought to our room when she heard me coughing. How thoughtful.

Although I booked a standard double at a very deep discounted rate (typically this means getting the box room next to the staff quarters), I was given an apartment room which was really a suite.
