  Location! It's in a quiet side street just next to covent garden, absolutely brilliant for shopping and going out! They have single-glased windows but you don't hear a thing from what's going on around covent garden! The rooms have a traditional english interior design, which we love! It made the room feel very homely, although it's a little tight... hva folk sier » ! Helpful, friendly staff. We got offered to have our cases carried up to our room, but they weren't heavy so we didn't mind doing it ourselves. Howev - We liked absolutely everything about the Fielding. It's a little bit quirky which makes it even more perfect! Fabulous location, so quiet too! We walked to Spittalfields and beyond and back! We live on the south coast and were woken by seagulls! Felt like home from home. Manageress/owner was so friendly & welcoming, made us feel individual rather than just another guest. Bed was oh-so-comfy, and the shower had a seperate hand-spray too, hooray! 10 out of 10, a little gem!

  For a small hotel the facilities were excellent. I just wanted somewhere for the night to rest after visiting some of London's attractions with my young daughters. Easy to find with a great location near Paddington and Edgeware Road tubes. Staff were very helpful and polite and the room was clean, warm and comfortable.   I had reservations as I only stay in 4/5 stars but for location I choose this hotel for Valentines day as it was walking distance to Wembley Stadium and I did not want to stay some where and I was not happy.From checking in to checking out I was very happy.   Excellant hotel, location and staff. We did have a problem with bed the first night (headboard dislodged) and the next day they moved us to better room and gave us a discount for that night. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. - Excellent location for the main tourist sites in London
