Reception staff were really lovely, helpful and smiley all the time and
all of them! Loved the location so near the Millennium
Footbridge...great to stroll across the Thames every morning and an
equally great walk from Tate to London Eye/Big Ben or in the other
direction to Tower Bridge. First time we have been withs kids to London
and it was the first time we have walked so much and seen so much.
Breakfast is just perfect. Right amount of choice. Only had to wait for
a table once (out of three. alle vurderinger »
The rooms were lovely and clean and have everything we needed and we all got a great nights sleep. The staff were really helpful and it was great to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in time and after. Breakfast was really good too and set us up for our days sight seeing. All in all a lovely, clean, bright and friendly hotel, where the staff were always genuinely happy to help. was also useful to have a Tesco Express right next door.
The front desk was always ready to serve, had all answers, took 30 seconds to arrange a cab. Staff wanted to know first how I was enjoying my stay, how well I slept. Breakfast was superior, grand variety of traditional English, cereals, juices, anything really and all delicious. Same hostess remembered my name each morning. Room and facilities all extremely clean and comfortable. Location 5 minute walk to tube or Thames or Tate.
We(including our 15 year old daughter) really enjoyed our stay. We would describe ourselves as seasoned London travelers and have stayed at Premier Inns throughout London. This location was quiet, city vs. touristy...convenient to great restaurants, shopping, Tube, and all that is London, while giving you the feel of being a part of a London neighborhood. There are pubs right nearby, a Tesco next door, a friendly, helpful staff.
A great location within walking distance to many sites along the Thames. Steps away from the Tate Modern and less than 5 minutes walk to Southwark Station. A Tesco Express next door and plenty of cafes & restaurants nearby. The rooms are approx 20sqm and were super clean. There is a small bar and restaurant for evening meals and breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; they were the icing on the cake!!.
Very helpful staff. Needed to leave our luggage early on the morning we arrived instead of lugging it around the city. This was no problem and was safely stored for peace of mind. Full air conditioned room lovely bed and all very clean. Restaurant service and food perfect. Very quiet in our room. Perfectly positioned hotel with a nice 10 min walk to the eye and london bridge. We enjoyed it very much thank you all.
The location of this hotel is fantastic, especially if you like to walk along the Thames to see the many sites. Southwark station is close by as are a great range of cafés, restaurants and bars. There is a Tesco Express next door which is very handy. Our room was a good size, approx 20sqm. Plenty of space for luggage and hooks to hang coats at the entry. The staff were all very friendly and helpful!!.
The hotel is new and offers good facilities, especially for a London
hotel. Some might think that the location is not so central but this
London area is very interesting and convenient. With major sights nearby
(walking distance) like Tate Modern, St Paul's, Tower of London and
Borough Market, many not so touristic spots and only few tube stops to
Oxford and Piccadilly.
Our family of 4 stayed at this hotel from 17-22 May 2013. The staffs
were friendly and the room was clean. It was also just about 5mins walk
from the Southwark tube-station. You could also walk along the River
Thames & get to the Tower Bridge and many other sights. Best of all,
the breakfast was great value at £17.90 for 2 paying adults & the
kids eat free.
Everything. The staff were amazing - customer friendly, approachable, accommodating - nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was very clean and fresh and the bathroom recently refurbished. Loved the colour scheme in the bedrooms. The breakfast facilities were excellent and the location was perfect for where we wanted to go.
The hotel is very well situated. It's fabulous location to Borough Market and Union Street Cafe was an absolute bonus! All the staff were attentive and helpful without being over-baring. The bedrooms are roomy and extremely clean. The beds are comfy, large and firm- we both slept soundly.
My recommendation would be- stay here!.
Great central location just a short walk from Tate Modern, the South Bank, St Pauls and Southwark Cathedrals, the City of London, and Borough Market, but very quiet location nonetheless, and if you want a traditional English breakfast in a traditional English cafe then it's just across the road!.
Kids eat free at breakfast.
Later checkout time of 12 o'clock very helpful on last day. Luggage storage on last day. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, providing wine glasses and an ice bucket, finding a screwdriver for the kids to put batteries in their new toy from Hamleys.
Rooms large, beds comfy, clean, friendly staff, helpful staff, attentive, good food, large section, welcoming, nothing to much trouble, convenient to everything, lovely area, the whole experience at this premier inn made our trip.
We stayed 7 nights in a triple room together with our grandson(13) and enjoined our vacation in this hotel very much.
The location ,full English breakfast, very friendly staff and most helpful. Would come again.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Quadruple room with 2 single beds was great and the kids loved it. Will definitely stay here again.
Staff were lovely, friendly to a fault! Breakfast bar was great!
Location brilliant.
Room more than adequate for our needs.
Great value for a weekend with kids.
Evening food in restaurant very good value!.
We have stayed at a different Premier Inn six years ago and loved it. This one was newer, more friendly, better food and still very close to the Thames etc. we loved it and will stay here again.
Staff were very helpful & polite.
Our room was very comfortable (2 adults, 2 children in together)
Food was excellent. We had an evening meal and breakfast. Very good service all round.
Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are quiet, clean. Staff nice and helpful. Very close to subway station and hop-on hop-off bus routes. Tesco at the bottom of the hotel, with wide opening hours.
staff excellent - and not "scripted robotic" helpfulness either. Natural like they really did care!
Breakfast excellent and good value for the 15 year old ( she ocunted as a child so free!).
Helpful Staff, Comfortable claen room, good breakfast. Just a short walk from Southwark Tube station, good links to London attractions. A few minutes walk the Tate Modern and the Thames.
Location was good for cafe's shopping and attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was clean and very comfortable, as I expect when we visit other Premier Inn.
Location was excellent. Rooms very clean and well-prepared.
Our floors were quiet and all felt safe for women travelling alone.
Little contact with staff but friendly and courteous.
Staff really friendly, all of them!!
Perfect location near tube and attractions
Very good beds, clean.
Very good restaurant, tasty food, nice relaxing atmospere!
We will come back!.
staffs very nice, help me to print out the london eye online tickets which I forgot. a pretty new hotel. clean. room is not small. 24 hrs restaurant at the ground floor.
Bed very comfortable (unusual in hotels), air conditioning very welcome and efficient especially during the present heatwave. Staff very affable, breakfast good.
Our first stay at a Premier Inn and it was much more than we expected. Perfect location, extremely friendly and helpful staff and comfortable everything.
The service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that kids eat free. The quality of the food was very good and plenty of it.
Very helpful staff (best that I have seen), reasonably priced food (calories stated was good), and clean rooms and excellent location.
Location was fantastic, walking distance to a lot of attractions. The bed was fantastic and good value breakfast. Highly recommended.
Excellent staff, all friendly and attentive. Nice fresh clean room all ready with kids beds made up on arrival. Great breakfast!.
Really friendly staff.
Very convenient for Tate and South Bank - no traffic noise !
Small Tesco just next to hotel - very handy.
all the above .staff friendly, comfy ,clean, breakfast good quality value for money would stay again marjorie peter liverpool.
Very clean. Rooms are reasonably spacious and beds very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet for a fairly central London location.
Very good location. It's close to the tube station and five mins walk to Tate and St Paul. The staff are helpful and nice.
The location was brilliant for access to the 02 arena. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. I would stay again.
Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was very good.
The rooms were a decent size, the staff tried really hard and the hotel
is close to the tube and lots of London sights.
very friendly and ideally situated in London. Great breakfasts and with 2 teenage children worked out very good value.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, Hotel clean and after a long day travelling the Restuarant was good to use.
Great staff always smiling and willing to help. Nothing was too hard for them and it made the stay very comfortable.
The location was good, room clean, good breakfast. near from southwark underground. nearly 15 min walk to london eye.
Good location, close to Borough market, Tate and the Thames bank. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean room.
The air-conditioning.
The receptionist checked the travel time by taxi to our station.
ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET!!!.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull, room was clean, nice breakfast
and location closed with mini market.
Great budget hotel, clean safe and family friendly. Excellent location on the south bank of the thames.
Rooms were nice and clean. We had 2 extra beds in the room so it was quite comfortable with two kids.
Clean, comfortable, good size room, great location on South bank. Good cafe opposite for breakfast!.
Staff were really helpful and friendly. Location was good. Breakfast was great .Good value for money.
The first night we had our evening meal there as kids were tired. There
were only a few tables occupied but we had to wait before even ordering
as 'the kitchen was too busy".....not sure what they would have
done if all the tables were full?? Great menu on paper but meat quality
not great. Good kids menu too. Atmosphere and staff good though. Just
chose to eat out the other nights.
A little too far south for some of the sights, but tube station very near.
Like so many hotels, the wi-fi did not work on arrival. A failure of router maintenance by their contracted provider--could not even connect to proprietary web site to pay the daily internet fee and gain access. Desk staff discover they had difficulty too, immediately contacted their Technical and entire hotel was serviced that day. Remainder of stay had strong connection.
Strangely we couldn't get a hot drink in the bar restaurant area in the afternoon. Has assumed this facility would run all day in a London hotel.
Having to perform all check-out formalities when you arrive late after
a long travel, using a machine, is not so convenient despite the
helpful staff.
Only thing was that the shower did not have a detachable shower head,
which made bathing little ones a little challenging.
Nothing- spot on!.
Couldn't open the windows.
Notice gave instructions as to what to do with towels that didn't need changing but staff changed them anyway, wasting resources!.
Minor things. Very noisy hot water pipes in bathroom and into bed room.
Put more hooks in bathroom to hang clothes please.
Check out...one terminal open, big queue, meant we just left our keys but could not leave our l;uggage 'cos did not have time to sort.
No parking. Private lot for about 20£ a day (closed on weekends). Only three towels for 4 of us. Floor of the lobby very slippery when wet.
could not open window. we were 3 people sleeping in one room and it got quite stuffy!!.
letsbookhotel.com did not supply Premier Inn check-in confirmation number, so we could not use the quick check-in machines. Not the Premier Inns fault, though.
I felt it was a bit pricey. Breakfast included or free wifi would Warrenton the price.
Bathroom was a bit chilly with no heating or heated towel rail.
Late cleaning of the rooms, we were coming back between 15.00 - 16.00 and the room was n't cleaned yet (3 of the 5 days)!
Many small children in the hotel, some times extremly noisy (running, screaming and knocking on our door for playing)!.
no lobby at all. need to walk a few minutes for the subway. expensive parking.
Cost is a debatable point as regards value for money, but as it is London on a par with London hotels.
Nothing really. It was as expected.
No fridge and no facewasher.
All hotels in London are over-priced!
Don't bother with automated check-in system (it is slow and clumsy) - just get the friendly staff to check you in.
Wifi is not free.
Our room door was faulty and didn't lock properly. Also my daughter, 10 years old was on a camp bed which was uncomfortable because of the springs. We told the staff about both of these issues and we were offered a full refund. Excellent customer service.
The wi-fi in the room did not work the entire 5 nights I stayed there.
The staff were sympathetic but it should have been fixed immediately.
For a family visiting London on a weekend of the marathon a little expensive £169.00 for one night.
Would stay again but would prefer to pay £80-100 a night.
Nothing really comes to mind.
Parking is a bit of a hassle if you don't want to pay top prices.
Being asked at dinner several times if we wanted to upgrade our menu choices.
None.
Staff was not very helpful when we asked for some directions. We had asked them to book a Cab and they booked some private Taxi instead.
