It was a convenient location for my purpose (hospital visit in Carmarthen).
The choice of evening meal and the meal itself was excellent as was the breakfast which was included in the price.

It was like being at home, and everybody working there were friendly, we were looked after very well. We enjoyed the craic, and the food. Would of loved to stay longer. We will be back again, and again, and again.

This pub is in Porthyrhyd and there are two villages of that name about
22 miles apart.
Unable to turn off one radiator, not good given the excelent weather.
The need to improve decoration in some areas, but can see where they have started to make improvements which were very pleasing.
Noisy until pub closed
No wardrobe or hanging rail, just three hooks behind bathroom door
No hair drier
Nowhere to put soap in shower
Nowhere to hang towels.
Nothing.
No coffee in the room.
A bit dated.
