  A beautiful hotel in a lovely countryside location. All the staff we met were extremely polite and helpful. The cost for bed and breakfast in a very comfortable room represented excellent value for money. Highest recommendation - Quiet in spite of a wedding reception in the hotel.   Excellent hotel in a lovely setting with good access to the Forest of Bowland. Modern, clean rooms and a great restaurant. This should be at least a 4*. Will definitely be staying again (soon!) - Excellent value for money. Good facilities.

  I loved having a suite to myself. I didn't dine there apart from an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff very helpful with directions for the onward journey. Extremely good value for money. Highly recommended. - Decor and atmosphere in main lounge is outstanding. All staff friendly and professional.
