  Amazing! I didn't know what to expect from the hotel or the location. What a great surprise. The Lake District, the Village of Grasmere and the Waterside hotel were great!. The hotel was spotless, great staff, room was fantastic. Amenities were great in the room and in the hotel. The big suprise was the food at the hotel. Breakfast was good,... hva folk sier » but dinner was absolutely fantastic!! - The peace and quiet in the gardens and the excellent breakfasts.thestaff were very friendly and helpful.this is the second time we havestayed here and we have enjoyed both stays.we would'nt hesitate to stayagain if we could get a good deal like the one we have just had.

Breakfast also excellent (you could order classic English, continental breakfast and even salmon), wi-fi, TV provided but not so interesting because nature outside is very beautiful.

  Great location for seeing the Lake District and our hosts Sharon and Paul were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in making our stay better. Breakfasts were good and the room facilities were modern and spotlessly clean. The view of the countryside from the window was brilliant. Breakfast was generous, tasty and provided many options. The location to Ambleside town centre was very handy, but a little walk uphill on the return. Would highly recommend using Wynford Guest House as a base for exploring the Lake District.
