  Overall quality of the place was really high including most comfortable bed I have ever slept, so clean and big room).. John was at there when we need and he is very helpful, friendly and kind. After staying one day you feel like you are at home more than a hotel. Location is 15-20 mins to the center and 5 mins by bus which is really good. I will - Room was very nicely and comfortably furnished, inpeccably clean that it made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so that was great hospitality.   Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Brothaigh House! The location is great and the room we stayed in was very nice and bright with a lovely Victorian feel. The breakfast options were fantastic. There is toast, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, a full Scottish breakfast and even a vegetarian option. I would recommend this place to anyone. - Our family of 5 stayed in the large family room and were happy with the size of the room. The location was wonderful with buses passing by the front door every few minutes leading right into town. Free parking on the street was convenient. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Our hosts were great - wonderful with the kids and super friendly and helpful.

  Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our hostess, Linda is an absolute sweetheart. She was extremely helpful and very accommodating. Even after being late by almost 30 mins, she agreed to serve us fresh breakfast.
