  The apartment was modern, spacious and extremely clean, with a huge window overlooking Nicholson street. We relaxed watching the world go by and still the noise wasn't a problem at all. The area has any facility that you might need, and it takes you about 10 min on foot to reach the Royal Mile. Or you might catch a bus, which is just round the cor... hva folk sier » ner. We travelled with our 2 kids aged 7 and 4, they loved going up and down the apartment and we felt safe. - Good location in quiet back street but close to shops and restaurants and not too far from city centre and station. I was initially dismayed to find the apartment is in a Hall of Residence but there was no appreciable noise from the student element of my fellow residents. Apartment was well equipped and comfortable
