  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.   We got the 1-bedroom apartment. -Very clean and modern (touch screen console controlling room temperature and lighting. Manuals of kitchen appliances can also be accessed from this console. Always on hand to help. I was very grateful as I arrived on an early flight (20+ hours) and they arranged a room for me prior to normal check in and also did the same for a late checkout. I loved the Rosebery so much I extended my stay from 1 week to 2 weeks. Close to tube and buses right on your doorstep.   Stayed here for 1 night with my partner, we were attending a function close by so location was excellent. we arrived half a hour early but the gentleman on reception was very helpful and rather than make us wait while our room was been cleaned, he changed our room so we could check in early. although the room wasn't huge, there was plenty of room ... hva folk sier » for 2 people and as the hotel was fairly new all the facilities were up to an excellent standard. I would definitely use this hotel again, it was even - Great position, Shoreditch is full of pubs, clubs and restaurants and very close to the City! Old street underground station is 5-10 minutes on foot; next to the hotel there is the bus stop (buses to the Tower of London, Oxford Circus and Waterloo). Hotel clean and new.   The quirkiness; if you don't like quirky then don't stay here! The staff were young, helpful and keen to make our stay a pleasant one. We chose a room without a window which was fine for 1 night.
