We only saw Alan the proprietor once, on arrival, which sums up how good
our stay was. Very friendly and very helpful with regards to the
cottage, things to do, places to go/eat. Stayed in Weirs Snout (red
building), and can't fault it. It was just the two of us but it was
comfortably big enough to accommodate 6.....maybe next time we'll

Location wise, best located place we have stayed in a long time
Cottages are well designed and felt like being at home only after 10 minutes of staying in.
Very child friendly - we been provided with a cot and hig chair all great !
On top of all this - there are some many thigs to do that it is unreal - will be going back there definately !

the interior was gorgeous, have to agree the sofa bed was a bit uncomfy, but there was an extra mattress there which we used and it sorted that problem out.

never felt more at home than I did at Finn MacCools. Friendly and
helpful staff that are more than willing to point out local attractions,
provide dining suggestions, or just include you on their order from the
chippy down the street, and are willing to converse with you about
