  We have to echo everything that 'Adrian from Shanghai' has said about this excellent hotel. From the moment we entered the foyer to book in at the desk we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. Our room was spotless and surprisingly quiet for central London, and the air conditioning on such a hot day was very welcome. We had an excellent evening meal and an equally good breakfast with one of - The location was first class. The rooms clean, the beds comfortable, and the linen of acceptable quality. The staff were friendly and chatty without being 'familiar' and we enjoyed our conversations with the various nationalities. [We are New Zealanders] The breakfasts were very good. The evening meals were well-priced and more than adequate [especially the marinated ribs and the big chocolate sundae! The wine-waitress was a character, especially when she knew we lived not far from th
