A modern hotel with free wi-fi and free facility of an ironing room which proved useful. We stayed in a standard room with good wet room at the front of the hotel overlooking a busy road but we heard no traffic noise. The air conditioning very efficient. Staff extremely friendly and happy to help. Location is fantastic right by the station and a short walk to the north laines. Room was clean and spacious, fairly functional but that's not a bad thing. The lobby and communal areas and well decorated and welcoming. We had a room at the back of the hotel on the top floor and slept soundly even with the window open- anyone who has visited Brighton before will appreciate how rare this is!!

Staff were generally friendly. The room was very 'homely' even though it was obviously a very old building. Was cosy at night. The area wasn't too noisy even though it was on the beach. Very pleased with my stay, already planning to stay here again when me and my friend next visit Brighton.

in 'Lewes', a small room, very nicely designed (with an emphasis

Boutique feel with themed rooms. It would be nice to have an option of which themed room you get and to see the options online - probably possible if you call them up though.
Jacuzzi in the Sea-view rooms works a treat!
American style diner below (room service available). Huge portions in the sharing platters.

Staff were excellent & helpful.young lady on the Tuesday evening with v short blonde hair asset to the hotel along with the breakfast lady who was there everyday (middle age long hair) was so lovely. We liked the size of the family rooms. We split the 5 members of the family girls in one room and boys in the other. Breakfast on both mornings was amazing, we never qued or had to ask for something to be replaced. The staff were efficient and very polite. Our family really really enjoyed our stay and will be using the Hotel again when we next visit.

The hotel made you feel at home, had a very enjoyable stay. Even thou we were only there for two nights we felt that we had had a very relaxing time and felt very refreshed. - The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were of a very good size. We loved the feeling of grandeur and would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Everything about the stay was excellent, from the moment we dropped our bags off (earlier than check-in) to actually being shown the room (bed was so comfortable), to the bar and bistro.
Found all staff excellent, very friendly and very helpful (recently back from Las Vegas where I stayed in a supposed luxury hotel! everything was the complete opposite too the Hotel du Vin).
Both of us wished we had booked that extra day!
