The room at The Talbot was really the best I've ever stayed in, in the UK, (except for high-end hotels). Spacious, clean and high standard. LCD TV (though tiny), with tons of channels. Great breakfast and excellent food in the restaurant, which specializes in local foods. Friendly staff. Highly recommended and definitely a place I'll come back to.

The foodwas extreemly good, from the wonderful full English breakfasts to the3-course evening meals. - The room was excellent and everyone was very friendly. The evening mealand breakfast were also excellent - highly recommend, but with only 4rooms perhaps I should keep a secret! Best value I have had experincedfor a long time.
