My husband and i were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived, this continued throughout our week long stay, Avalon is a wonderful place to stay, it is quite central so getting out and about is very easy, and the staff have great knowledge of the area enabling you to make the most out of your holiday. We plan to go back there very soon.

With a side entrance you felt you could come and go without disturbing the owners or other guests ( and no curfew times). The guest house deserves all the plaudids and awards.

Made to feel very welcome with drinks on the patio on arrival. Room very clean and modern and perfect location to walk into town. We were able to leave our bags all day after checkout which saved a lot if discomfort carrying these around on a very hot day. The owner was,very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. A lovely and very comfortable bedroom and en-suite with lots of nice touches e.g. Toiletries including bath salts, information file on where to eat/ what to do and a DVD player in the room. The breakfast was delicious and plentyful. There was ample parking and even a guest living room. All of this and only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Inverness.

The staff were incredible. We left early, before breakfast the breakfast hours had started, and they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches and fruit to take with us on the train.
The rooms were bright and clean, and both the mattresses and the pillows were deliciously comfortable. (This was in contrast to previous hotels on our trip.) I would very happily stay here again.

Is everything too general? We were on our honeymoon, traveling all around Scotland and Highland ended up being our favorite. We will be coming back to visit in a few years and will forgo other places next time, just setting up our base camp at the Highland Apartments so many things to see within driving distance, beautiful view, walkability is magnificent, so comfortable. Loved it!

Stylish and well appointed, with quality furniture and linens, this one-bedroom apartment was perfectly located with shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The underground car park was easy to find and very convenient.

I had emailed to say that I would arrive late. I was welcomed with warmth but without fuss, the room was small but very cleverly designed & spotless, inc ensuite. Breakfast was ample with a wide choice (Im a veggie) and a bottomless cup. I saw the lounge but did not use it as I was so late arrivng, I would definitely stay again & recommend it, esp for city trip as it is so convenient.

Highly recommended! Thank you for a lovely stay! We booked for family visiting us and ourselves, altogether party of 7 people, a one night stay at Inverness West -whilst visiting Loch Ness.
