  I booked the King Room on the first floor (stairs: this is a pub after all) for only one night during my trip from London to see the Walpole/Hermitage collection at nearby Houghton Hall. The inn is situated on the main road through the village, but traffic was sporadic and did not disturb. My room was excellent in terms of furnishings and amenities (including free WiFi and minibar) and I have in fact s - Sandra was a very friendly helpful and easy to talk to -the room was clean and well prepared with everything you need - excellent quality fluffy towels - the breakfast area was congenial with a jolly good breakfast and selection - more was offered .Useful shop opposite and pleasant little village.An excellent location for a visit to Houghton Hall and Sandringham - what a fabulous value trip that was - an absolute must -wish I had done it beforehand.   Nice location, easy to find, reasonable bar meal menu, cosy bar area, good breakfast choice (and plentiful). Room was clean and tidy, although furniture dated and in serious need of updating. Bathroom area spacious and clean.
