Lady at front reception was so friendly and made our stay great. Room was nice, slightly dated but overall was excellent value for money. Hotel was clean, quiet and the food in their restaurant was lovely. Nice atmosphere and will stay again in the future. The welcome was friendly and check-in quick and efficient . The room was spacious, airy and spotless. The evening meal we had was delicious and the brealkfast the best we've ever had in a hotel!! Great value for money!!!.
alle vurderinger » The Glenfarg Hotel made a comfortable overnight stop over, in a quiet village. The evening meal was very well presented and tasted as good as it looked. The bedroom and public areas were very comfortable. ,. Great hotel, good location for a local pretty village and very handy for the Perthshire Offroad and Fishery Centre. Staff are extremely helpful and very flexible. Very good experience all round. Very relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff, good food. Booked this last minute, as we needed a break but would go back again. Handy for travelling around the area. Friendly staff, lovely building, very nice rooms, loved that you allow pets to stay thought that was very nice even though we didn't take any:-). Excellent value for money. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was good. Rooms are in an old-fashioned style with high ceilings. lovely room, great setting, loved the little park for the dogs and the staff were friendly and helpful, great place to stay. Extremely friendly staff - fantastic food - great wine list - will definately visit again the next time I'm in the area. A nice litte garden just behind the hotell. The food in the restaurant was OK. Every monday night there's a folkclub in the cellar with different concerts. Very nice. Nice cooked breakfast.Nice staff. Decor slightly dated. Nothing. The continental breakfast was very basic. Nothing! Can't understand why some moan about this place. nothing. single beds could do with a refurb as a little uncomfortable. Nothing. none. breakfast had no grapefruit/prunes. Cold shower in the morning. The bed was extremly hard, me and my partner both struggled to get a decent nights sleep. Although the room was nice and warm the bathroom was freezing and tbe shower was very cold. Also around 2am the staff decided this was a reasonable time to put all their glass bottles in the bin witch was very noisey and kep us up. We also had trouble gettin into the hotel as the main door only opend half way then stuck. Room decor was a little tired. Nothing. nothing. the smell coming from the kitchen, below our top floor room. (a minor gripe). The food could have been better. cold shower. decor slightly dated and worn, room draughty, TV not working. Not sure what the othere rooms are like but ours was small and dated. Hadn't been dusted in ages. The matress was too soft, the cooked breakfast was very expensive for what you got £7.95 for a very small portion and there was only basic freeview tv in hotel bar even though it was in such a secluded area which is a shame as I had to travel to perth to watch sport when I would have been happier and more comfortable staying in hotel. Food a bit basic En suite shower need to update. In room 2, same room as last stay? No hot water even after running tap for 10 minutes. The hotell was very close to a highway, so rooms towards the highway were quite noisy. Rooms towards the back was ok. - The chairs and tables outdoor could have been cleaned and dried off of rain. A toilet and fridge were placed "in the garden". I would have prefered flowers!. Very uncomfortable beds,basic rooms and compared to hotels in which I have stayed,poor value for money.Oh and the bathroom was about 1/10.
