lovely hotel , very friendly staff , bedroom goodsize with comfy bed !!!evening meal gorgeous well worth staying at the hotel for and large cooked scottish breakfast !! .Good location not far to travel in to Dumfries . good price to pay and wound recommend to family and friends ! will stay again when I next visit !!!

Room was clean and moderately well equipped. The presence of bunnies munching the back laws was a nice touch.
The evening meal menu is adequate and has a nice variety. This is good as the nearest good restaurant is over 3 km away. -
Easy to find.
Good parking for motorcyles.
Great stop-off location for further travel to Cairnryan.

Everything! Bruce the manager really went the extra mile for me! The staff was extremely accommodating. From the moment we arrived till long after we left! I was carried away by the fabulous furniture and used all their drawers, and ended up leaving behind my make up kit in one of their drawers! Bruce skipped his lunch break the next day to post

Location - close to town and all amenities but far enough from town centre for quiet break. Room décor old fashioned including 4 poster bed to suit styled accommodation - modern up to date equipment, Fab breakfast and service in well lit cosy room. Plentiful parking spaces and children's play area out back (if you have little ones with you). Great for price - booked on special rate 2 days before trip

We had been delayed and phoned to say we would not arrive until well after the normal booking in times, David assured us that there was no problem and we were able to continue our journey with an easy mind. Excellent room, large, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. David, the owner is friendly without wanting to know your life story, which I like. This room is great value for money. We paid £99 for a tiny cramped room in a hotel in the Highlands. You could fit two such rooms in the one we had in Glenaldor.
We would highly recommend this B+B.

Everything! The hosts Suzy and Derek were lovely friendly and helpful.
I had a double room to myself though it was a room with no view ie next door's wall everything else was perfect. Clean, modern, uncluttered, comfy.
Great choice and flexibility for breakfast, the porridge was gorgeous!
A real bonus was the opportunity to use the microwave and fridge in the breakfast room so if you dont fancy going out you can reheat a micro meal and eat in!
