Parts of this former coaching inn date back 400 years, and it still retains original wooden beams in the bar. You can play pool and darts, enjoy free Wi-Fi, an drive to the centre of Norwich in 30 minutes. The spacious and traditionally furnished rooms at The Dickleburgh Crown all come with Freeview TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Each also has its own bathroom with free toiletries, as well as a desk and a seating area. Full English breakfast is available each morning, and homemade food is served for lunch and dinner in the pub restaurant. A selection of real ales are on offer, as well as wines and beers. Diss is just 6 miles from The Dickleburgh Crown, and Banham Zoo is 9 miles away. Thetford Forest and the town centre of Ipswich can both be reached in 40 minutes by car.

Everything, staff & customers were so friendly & we were made very welcome. The cottage we stayed in was excellent, spotlessly clean & comfortable. The pub is the best we have come across in ages, food was excellent. We were there for a special reason & our returning towards Remembrance Day. We will be booking there again!. Beautifully converted spacious room, with lots of beams/character and a large, clean ensuite bathroom. Tea and coffee tray in room. Delicious cooked breakfast - freshly made to order with locally produced sausages and black pudding - the black pudding is the most delicious I have ever tasted!.
alle vurderinger » This is the second time that we have stayed here in the last two years. It still does not disappoint . I would recommend this place to all.we stayed in the rose room which is lovely. Very roomy accommodation. Pleasant country pub atmosphere with cottages behind. Real country but close to Diss and other large towns. 100 Bomber Squadron Museum very close. Room was well appointed & clean, free Wi-Fi a bonus. Food choice and quality was very good. Real ales also very nice. Staff friendly. Good quality accommodation and friendly staff. We used it as a base for a cycling weekend good connections to the coast. The warm welcome, the clean and comfortable room, the kingsize bed and kingsized breakfast!! Excellent supper and ales. The staff were very welcoming and the room was spotless; we stayed in The Rose. Breakfast was also very nice. Good sized rooms at the back of the pub with your own access to the courtyard Great pub food good atmosphere. Comfy room, friendly but not intrusive staff. Location. Harlestone is especially lovely. room was lovely staff helpful breakfast was enormous (& yum!). Very comfortable clean spacious room, parking. Helpful staff. Staff very pleasant, food good and accommmodation perfect. The room was clean, well equipped. Comfortable bed. Large room with good facilities. Can't fault this hotel. The whole visit. Nice size rooms, helpful staff and large breakfast. Cosy bar. Nothing!. Some noise from the pub customers but this didn't stop us from falling asleep. Nothing. No meals on Sunday night and slight lack of communication from management. No problems encountered. Diss is the nearest town but wouldn't say it is particularly worth a special visit. The landlord was a bit like a very loud Al Murray's pub landlord creation on speed!!!. Nothing to not like. Nothing. Sound from courtyard travels through the walls. curtains need to be darker would be lovely to have a mirror with better lighting to do make up / hair outside the bathroom (husband was hogging the bathroom). My wife fell down the steps at the rather dimly lit pub bar. Certainly a hazard. Nothing. Nothing. 10.00am check out after wedding party not suitable.
