Hotel is in a good location for Cardiff City Centre. It's clean, with friendly staff, so I think is great value for money. I took my daughter to The Dr Who Experience, it was only 15mins drive and good eating places nearby if you don't fancy being on the roads with the Cardiff mad drivers!.
stayed here a few times now nice staff good location for us to visit freinds and family we always make sure we donot stay on the ground floor because of the floor boards (squeaky ) other wise keep up the good work merry christmas to you all the pearce family. alle vurderinger »
Staff friendly and helpful, food was very good and location suitable for our needs. Room was not as booked - not the fault of the Hotel and they were very accommodating in adding an extra bed and assisting as they could.
The location was close to The Globe Theatre, which was the point of booking this hotel. It was also good value, as it is slightly out of the city centre. Breakfast was very good.
It was easy to find and well located close to the main road network, but far enough away to avoid traffic noise.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was easy to find.
The staff were great, very helpful, polite and friendly.
The David Lloyd Centre next door was a good facility to use.
the breakfast was very nice.
The family room was spacious.
Accessible to Cardiff yet not right in centre so easy to get to from main road link. Comfortable bed; good breakfast available at adjacent David Lloyd Centre. Helpful staff.

Good hotel.
The price.
comfort and attention to detail including superb choice of food and freshly cooked breakfast, promptly served.
room was spacious and clean, seemed to have been recently refurbished, very nice; will use again if needed.
Being next to the david lloyd centre meant I could go for a swim
it was clean.
Staff were quite nice, location good. Room mostly clean.
The receptionist was friendly. The breakfast was great.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.
Size of room good.
Room, bed.
Room was comfortable and quiet.
Price was reasonable for the facilities offered.
Nothing.
Breakfast is in David Lloyd which is attached to Premier Inn, a little inconvenient and different, but lovely breakfast serve by efficient staff, so not much of a dislike really.
Nothing.
Difficult to find, as the signage was poor, even with satnav!.
The long distance hike to the breakfast room was a bit disconcerting, but the breakfast was good when we eventually got there.
didnt like being woken up at 3.05am by blokes next doorbut didnt complain as enjoyed all other aspects of over night stay.
room a bit small for four of us - our two children are young teenagers now, but it was oaky for one night.
The drunken guy outside! But to be fair, it was a rugby weekend!.
blood specs around the soap dispenser !
Queueing for breakfast.
Not enough tea/coffee/ sachets.
nothing we didn't like.
The creaky floor boards you can hear from neighbouring rooms.
Location, not easy to find.
Finding the place was a nightmare. The signs nearby do not continue to the site and the sign at the bottom of Norfolk Ave is only readable approaching from one direction. Signs should make it clear that the hotel is next to the David LLoyd gym.
Internet connection not that good. Paid for service but substandard.
The hard beds.
Very noisy. I was awoken by my room neighbours having a domestic dispute twice in the night.
Parking fees in the city and sights were horendus at least we could park at the hotel for free.
would have liked power shower.
No air con.Internal entrance into dining area would help.Better signage on main roads into hotel.
The long trek to breakfast. Access to the restaurant evenings.
long walk for breakfast.
hard to find by car.
Location is disconnected despite being In town.its Only a problem if you're using busses
Their breakfast restaurant is a bit if a walk through David lloyds gym.
Directions were poor at night.
Didn't like the breakfast by david lloyd. They were rude and unhelpful and the breakfast certainly wasn't as good as when we've stayed at a premier inn next to a table table. The buffet was unreplenished and the cooked breakfast was served cold. Not what I expected when compared to a table table breakfast. The hotel however was absolutely brilliant and couldn't fault it.
too far to walk to restaurant through leisure centre activities and inflated rates for special weekend were atrocious - you cannot advertise and emphasise how reasonable your charges are and then charge 10 times more when you know demand is going to be high - that is farcical and unfair. We were in Cardiff for a grand-daughter's birthday party and not the rugby international but paid the price for much superior accommodation!!!.
poor signing to the hotel from Newport Road - it feels like you are on a wild goose chase until you are almost in front of the hotel; night receptionist.
It took a long time for the cooked breakfast to come I found the same
thing the previous time I visited this premier inn no good if you are
in a hurry.
Only one towel in room, was soiled. Got two new ones fine though. Also heater buzzed keeping me up for the first night - however got a replacement brought into the room for the second night.
The receptionist told us we had only booked in for a single occupancy
but on my confirmation it said for 3 people? She said this was due to a
fault on letsbookhotel.com. Also, the walk to breakfast was long and they
could have just said to drive around to David Lloyd. The rooms were also
freezing at night.
Breakfasts in the nearby sports centre.
I have never experienced such a shambles in all of the hotels I have visited. There was no one in charge, the staff at the nearby sports centre were unhelpful. Customers were leaving after waiting over a hour for a hot breakfast!!.
Size of bed - double bed barely big enough for one - ok I admit I am large but even so. I suppose a couple would have to go for a twin bedded room.
location didnt feel that safe when we arrived late at night
few signs to get to hotel.
Location - it is isolated and in a desolate area, so there are no other facilities within walking distance.
The walk from the room to the restaurant bordered on the ludicrous in its route and distance!
The service in the restaurant was very slow, the tables were sticky and some of the crockery appeared to have not been washed.
I hated my stay there. It was completely soulless and sad.
