  Apartment was perfect for our 3 day trip to Cambridge, offering a home from home. Self catering suited us and was a much cheaper option than eating out every night. It was cosy, well-equipped and comfortable. We had a very warm welcome from the proprietor. Well placed for walking into the city centre 10 minutes or so.   the front room is so big and so filled w/light. it looks on to a row of shops and is so convenient by day. then everything closes down and it is quiet and lovely by night. all the rooms were big and airy w/great windows or sky lights that open. the apartment couldn't be more conveniently located to shops, groceries, market, quick bike ride or walk... hva folk sier » to the center of town where there are Shakespeare plays, concerts, larger shops and market, infinite restaurants and bookstores. the owners are warm

The lounge was large and comfortable and the kitchen was available for guests to use (crockery for each room provided in separate locked cupboards). This is something I have not seen before. Also, it is not far from town - few minutes by car but it would be possible to walk it.
