Just off Blackpool’s seafront and a 2-minute walk from Pleasure Beach, Water’s Edge has free WiFi in public areas of the building. South Pier is nearby, Sandcastle Waterpark is 4 minutes' walk away, and there are opportunities for go-karting a short stroll down the promenade. Each room at Waters Edge guest house has an en suite bathroom with free shampoo and soap, and every room also has a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Some also benefit from a four-poster bed or a sea view. the property also provides apartments. Breakfast is available for an additional fee. It is served in the breakfast room. Relax in the lounge with your morning paper, relax with a drink in the evening or watch a TV program. Glasses can be provided for guest's drink, as well as plates and cutlery for takeaways. Free public parking is available on the street. Secure parking is available for a surcharge at a location nearby. A parking space can be pre-booked through the property.

We stayed 05/08-12/08/13 in room 8 which is a family room. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids bunk bed were in a inter-connecting room with tv etc so the privacy at night was a bonus! The staff were all brill and made us feel very welcome at all times. We were asked every day if we needed anything and queries were tended to instantly. The breakfasts were very good and quick. The games room is idea when with chidren as you can wind down in there before bed with a game.
alle vurderinger » I enjoyed staying in the hotel they were super friendly with the children the food was fantastic the room was very clean and efficient and the staff were very welcoming we as a family would definitely stay there again in fact we are going back in the summerfor longer this time. This hotel definitely deserves a five star for a wonderful service and hygiene. We liked the staff a lot. The room was spacious and pleasant and the facilities were wonderful. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful as we had never been to the area before. The hotel was really great value for money and we would definitely visit again. The location was also perfect, write by the beach and close to a corner shop. Exceptionally helpful and understanding staff. Very friendly. Comfortable and clean throughout. A lovely sea view which we were not expecting and en suite bathrooms which we were not expecting.Generally absolutely wonderful. They even sorted out parking places for us overnight. Wonderful with faddy teenagers too!. Wonderful friendly staff , perfect location , they were amazing up to changing my non refundable booking with no extra cost !!! I recommend to families , couples and everyone wants to visit Blackpool , you can simply walk to all attractions or simply take the tram which is few steps away from the hotel. It is simply what you need from a hotel , perfect location , comfy rooms and fabulous staff . The staff are amazing , they have even changed my non refundable booking when I asked for !! With no extra fees . It is really what you need if you are going to Blackpool either for leisure or business. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, nothing was to much trouble, even on our last day , we were not rushed to leave, very friendly , would recommend this hotel , although it is not a 5 * hotel , but they make this up in friendliness . Lovely lounge which we used to eat our take away dinner one night and played a couple games of pool. Excellent location right near the sea front, the south pier and the pleasure beach. Amazing ppl that run Waters Edge.stayed 3times this yr grt rooms and grt food everytime.3rd time kids came and loved it,and we had problems gettin home due to railway cock up and the guy rang around complaining tryin to sort it 4 us.absolutly grt,wil be bk next yr!! :). Booking in was easy, staff were fantastic and friendly and made us feel at home from the minute we walked in, nothing was too much trouble, we loved the lounge area/games room esp as there is no longer a bar, we could relax with our children without any worries. Paul the owner was cheerful & very helpful nothing was too much trouble.We never had breakfast as we didn't want to be tied to a time but plenty of guests did our room was clean & comfortable very good value for money we would use this hotel again. Josie, paul and margaret made us feel very welcome and made it very special. It was home from home and the 4 poster bed topped it off. It was close to the beach and very easy to get to the main attractions. Id definately recommend to couples and families. Everything... Nice clean B&B. you get what you paid for basically... The owner Paul is an asset. Very helpful, understanding and friendly.... Nothing was too much for him. Would surely recomand this hotel. the staff was very friendly and always have a laugh. they can tell you where there is place you can go to eat. always there to help you if there is any problems and they will help you to sort out if they can. The breakfast was great and the room was very clean and comfortable. i booked this for my family to help us celabrate my husbands 60th and was made very welcome nothing was to much trouble i would defanatly book this hotel again. Staff were exceptionally friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was superb with a huge breakfast offered. Room small but very clean and was the facilities. It was a lovely place to be, very relaxing and comfortable all the staff was lovley and nice and the food was great will definatly be coming here again =D. the excellent service we recived also how welcome we were made to feel will be going again well done and a big thank you to jo & her husband. This was not a problem and everything was provided that was needed with the option to purchase toiletries if required and the use of a hairdryer. We just had to ask. On the whole - as near to perfect as it could be!. Nothing at all. Only one slight problem was the noise the toilet and the fan in the bathroom but it didn't do anything to dampen our enjoyable stay. All was good. Absolutely nothing. Nothing. Only problem was no lift and a bit hard to carry large suitcases up the stairs. we liked everything jo & her husband were brill. nothing. Leaving the hotel. Couldn't fault it. Nothing it was all fantastic. Parking (very limited). High charge for a dog (£20.00 for 2 nights). Room a bit small but adequate. No choice of bread only white sliced bread everyday at breakfast. A choice including seeded or granary would have been better. Nothing really. If i was to pick it would be that only 1 cup of tea/ coffee per person in the room was not enough. Having older children that drink tea could be considered.
