Mark & Steve, the hosts, are great. Really friendly, chatty and helpful. The room and everything else was exactly what it says on the tin so to speak. What you see in the pics here and on the hotel's own website is exactly what you find. I'm quite sure that I'm not the only person who's been unfortunate enough to arrive at some hotels for the first (and last) time only to discover that the website pics were probably taken several decades ago when it was last cleaned and/or decorated ! alle vurderinger » Everything was spot on, super value for money. Mark the hotelier was a fabulous host! Premier room is slightly larger and has a very comfy bed. just a very relaxed, friendly, down to earth hotel. Will go back for sure. Location was great for the gay district which is incidentally very straight friendly. Also very close to the best chippy in the world, finesse, around the corner on Dickson Road. Food cooked to order but oh so worth the wait! The center of Blackpool a 5 minute walk away so you'll. The Bedroom was clean and was quite spacious with shower and wash basin, bed was very comfortable for a good night sleep and was very quite through the night, the Dining Area was was clean and well laid out, Breakfast was at 09:30 am so you can slowly wake up in the morning. The Breakfast was good. Very handy situated for famous Funny Girls, Gay and Gay friendly pubs and Topping Street shops 5 minutes walk for the Trams and Sea Front. The owners where friendly and very helpful. Worth staying . staying at the Guyz hotel was the best choice I have made in years Mark & Steve were excellent host's and made our stay all the more comfortable the breakfast was second to none and the service was out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark & Steve who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. I would highly recommend this to all considering a visit to Blackpool. Once again thank you to Mark & Steve. I like the warm friendly owners and the people who attend to stay there. I like the fact that its so close to the Gay Bar's and Gay Night Club's. and it's not far from the sea front. Love Anthony x. The hotel is very close to Blackpool's gay venues, and the hotel provides a discount card for many of those. The room we stayed in was quite small but through clever use of space it had everything that could be needed during a short stay. The owner, Mark, is friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast provided in the morning was of a good standard and a good portion, too. Very friendly, spotless, a warm welcome, we had Room 8, on the top floor, very nice, comfortable, but there are smaller rooms, the breakfast was excellent, didn't realise it was a gay friendly hotel, but I didn't mind because I knew it would be clean and friendly, so Thank You Mark and Steve. the accommodation was excellent, breakfast was excellent and location couldnt be better for what we wanted, car parking very reasonable and closeby too. We had superb weekend and would definately rate this hotel. Lovely clean hotel...very organised. The hosts are courteous and friendly. Rooms are excellent and the breakfasts are out of this world. A man, gave me a breakfast, was very friendly and helpfull. Also I could put my luggage after check-out. Full English breakfast was good, it was the first time for me. I think it's great deal for a person travel alone. Breakfast was good with good timings for breakfast. staff is respectful. We had to come home, wished we had a few more nights. You at to share the Loo on the landing it was just a minor problem. That we could not stay longer. This isn't a fault of the hotel's, but Blackpool's gay scene is now all but non-existent. This meant that although the hotel is close to those venues, they're either empty or full of hen parties. The website said the nearest parking was Apocea, not far away, was £5 for 24hours, it is in fact £7 for 24hours,. nothing. There was nothing to dislike. The whole experience for 3 nights was excellent. Parking might be a problem should it get very busy but you know that before you book. Nothing !!!. Everything was good. That we couldn't stay longer.... Nothing I didn't like about hotel. It isn't luxury but neither was the price. It was clean friendly and great breakfast. Excellent value for money. The squeaky bed lol. N/A. Curtains need lining, let too much light in. Ensuite would of been nice but it was good value for money otherwise. If there was anything l was not happy about its that there were no biscuits with the tea's and coffee's in my room. Room 6 is far too small for a weekend break and the shower hardly worked. Nothing. Nothing. Quite expensive for what it is, but that's Blackpool, rather than this particular hotel. nothing. the weak water pressure in shower. Owner was very rude, made numerous jibes claiming we had used up all the "complimentary" tea bags... Stating" are you running short of tea at home?, your bin was empty and you are not even embarrassed" he followed us to the door on leaving huffing.. The en suite was 2 cupboards with louvred doors turned into a small shower and toilet which his nothing from other guest... toilet and shower access was not good.
