  The way the staff responds to the needs of their guests. They are sooo friendly and eager to find the answers to any questions a guest may have even if it may be unusual. American guests may not understand what all the words on the menu may mean, and the waiter/waitress is so eager to explain. Thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness and kin... hva folk sier » d assistance. We will defiitely come again if we come back to Blackburn. - Just about everything. Our room was nicely furnished with comfortable bed and interesting photographs and prints. Staff were very friendly. Located in a rural / commuter village with countryside around, and yet minutes to Blackburn or Preston and the M6. It is the village my grandfather was brought up in too which is a plus for me.
