A very friendly 'home from home ' hotel. As a woman staying on my own i felt safe and secure. The staff were welcoming and friendly at all times and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this hotel. - The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The food excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The lady at reception (unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was originally from South Africa) was incredibly helpful and informative. A pleasure to deal with and provided great customer service - she is a total asset to the hotel. -
Ease to get to Southampton and small towns near by, the new forest, etc.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities

We really enjoyed our stay at The Elizabeth House Hotel. Our double room was lovely, very clean and tidy and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, in particular the young lady who checked us in at the front reception desk. As we had never visited Southampton before, we had a few tourist type questions and the young lady was happy to help us and answered all of our questions. The booking got messed up, booked a superious suite, got given a twin,changed to a exec double at a reduced rate, promised free wine thatdidn't arrive and got a massive discount because of all the problems butStaff were very good at resolving these problems with no fuss so stillmade it a very enjoyable stay - whilst being a large hotel it retained
