The Bulls Head Lodge was perfectly situated in the lovely suburb of Hale, with access to Manchester Airport in less than 10 minutes. It is a traditional pub, with the hotel accommodation in a self-contained annex, and ample parking. There are pleasant views from the rooms across the bowling green. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with good facilities and excellent showers. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is a really nice hotel. Close to the metrolink and the nightlife in Sale (Bars, Restaurants etc). We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. The owner and staff are really friendly, the place is spotlessly clean, breakfast was good, beds were comfy. Really good value for money. No hesitation in making a full recommendation

6 of us stayed at the lodge for the Magic weekend at Etihad stadium. We all feel that the valve for money here was excellent. The staff were some of the very best and polite staff we had come across for a while. They really were helpful. The men of which they were 4 were made up with the quality of food that was served up at the buffet breakfast. Very nicely cooked well stocked all you can eat and drink breakfast included in the price. We will definitely recommend an stay here again.

We had a Grand Studio on the 4th floor and there was no noise from
outside or other rooms. We stayed on a Saturday so we did expect some
noise. The room we had was lovely with a Super King size bed. The room
was quite large and also contained a fridge freezer, a dishwasher,
cutlery & plates, iron, hair dryer, free wi fi, flat screen tv with
Internet access. Also, you had to be out of the room x 11am but for an
extra £10 you could stay in the room until 1pm. Breakfast was simple but

The hotel is a half an hour (very slow journey) bus ride from the city centre but I did get to see another part of Manchester, which I wouldn't have otherwise done. The very quick train from the city centre to Guide Bridge is 6 minutes and the hotel is 15 mins' walk from the station. Not having to dash about (as I do most days), I rather liked the chance to stretch my legs so the initial off-the-beaten track impression was in the end favourable.
