The hosts, Debbie and Peter, were really lovely and made us feel very
welcome. The breakfast was delicious and a good price. I wish we
could've stayed longer as it was a really lovely room with a huge
bed and sitting area in the bedroom. There's also a communal area
downstairs which is very homely.
The beach is only a short walk from the B&B and we walked to Bournemouth beach in the evening which took around 30 minutes.

Having said that we certainly return again as our stay at the Blue Palms was most enjoyable.

We were checked in by Sian who was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a map of local restaurants and pubs. We were very grateful for the fan in our room which was very thoughtful as the weather was so hot. The bed was very comfortable as was the sofa in the room. The host was welcoming with complimentary tea and cake (genoa?) and informative throughout our stay. The room, ( superior), was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with cereals, juice, fruit and cooked breakfast prepared to order, piping hot. An indoor heated swimming pool was available. The Rothesay is well placed for shopping, eating out, Highcliffe Castle and the beach.Overall very good value for money.
