The hotel is set at the side of the Grand Union Canal and we had a
lovely walk along there seeing lots of wildlife. The evening meal we had
was delicious and good value for money. Our room had an en-suite (we had

It was clean and comfortable, really a set of rooms above a pub. The
landlord cooks the meals and they are quite good British fare. Someone
said there was no breakfast; well this is not true, I had one most days
I was there. If you want a homely comfortable environment where you can
relax versus a sharp hotel, this is a very good place to go.

We were going to kempton park racecourse and wanted to make a night of it. The hotel was perfect 5 mins from the course, own parking (limited spaces) lovely big bar with plenty of tables. Liked everything! Cute patio , beautiful well appointed room. There were little extras like cookies tea cappuccino and a choice of still or sparkling water. Very quiet street but it has everything a traveller requires including a short 5 min walk to train stop pubs post and currency exchange and several restaurants. Go to Pizza Express - you will not be dissaointed!!!

Friendly staff, good value considering its position close to town centre but not too noisy. Parking is a bonus. Good value & tasty meal in the restaurant, nicely decorated & clean looking. Plenty of choice for breakfast, nothing too much trouble for girls waiting on.

The accommodation at the Windsor Trooper was lovely. Spacious room clean tidy with ensuite and was well decorated. The staff there were so helpful and pleasant The food served here was marvellous and I would recommend to anyone. Parking at the property was also a bonus. 5 Minutes walk from the town centre. Brilliant all round. Would certainly stay there again.
