staying in Urgup Konak,is the sort of experience ,i wonder i can have again:unique hosts ,well-decorated rooms,and the ambiance of old but alive house because of the good heart ,friendliness and taste of owners:lovely Melahat and Sheymos.
we planned to stay 1 night but then we preferred to extend our stay for 2 more nights to enjoy their hospitality even more.

The room decor was rustic but clean & comfortable - just the right atmosphere for a stay in Goreme. The complimentary continental breakfast was wonderful and very impressive - traditional, delicious, satisfying and varied.

The staff at the hotel was absolutely top-notch. Not only were they the helpful about arranging tours, recommending restaurants, even reserving out of town excursions, they were some of the friendliest people we met in Cappadocia. They do everything to help make your stay pleasant, and your visit to the area as effortless as possible. Ask for Ilknur and Kemal, they were terrific.

As a hospitality industry employee, I would suggest every hotel to have such staff as Lalezar does!! Ramon is the best hotel manager I’ve ever met! Client oriented & helpful staff. Perfect location. Grand Cave Suites was a magnificent place to stay; carved out of part of one of the many Faerie Chimneys there in Goreme, the rooms give you an amazing feeling of wonderment. Ours had two windows that opened to a beautiful view of Goreme and other carved sandstone-like spires. At sunrise, you could see many hot-air balloons ascending in the sky. Fabulous! The owner and manger so thoughtful. They called our room early (at 0700) to say breakfast was ready--in order to avoid the rush of a tour
