  I spent some days of my honeymoon two years ago in the hotel. I stayed in both times at a senior suit with a wonderful view facing the east. The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

  It is very modern hotel and we had great view of the city and the Bosphurus. Room was big and bed comfortable. Gym was well equipped and breakfast had good variety of options (fruit, cold meats and hot Turkish specialities).
