The rooms were comfortable and the AC worked great! It's also in a great location - just a short walk from Taksim Square. The best part of the hotel was the staff - they literally ran through tear gas with us to help us make our way to a shuttle for an early morning flight. Beyond these mild heroics, they also were very valuable in helping us navigate the city, make plans, and were responsive to any room-related requests we had.

Nice and cosy hotel with an excellent location - only 5 minutes walk from the Istiklal Street and its numerous restaurants, cafes, shops and exchange offices and Taksim metro station.
Very friendly staff, especially Mr. Serkan, who helped us a lot with all kinds of things from transfer from the airport to finding the way to the nearest exhange office.
Stylish rooms.
Good price.
Definitely gonna recommend this place to people i know!

I had a delightful surprise staying at the Taksim Star; very impressed by the room, soft yet crisp sheets; the bathroom was really clean, too!! The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and cosy. It is welle situated, from 1mm to the famous Istiklal avenue, where there is plenty of restaurants, shops, and 10 mm from the Taksim place. Akova, the hotel manager was very kind and helpfull.

young kids. A small grocery store and money exchange in the back street. -
The size of the apartment was of a good size of about 36 sq.m with the sofa bed being able to be folded into bed making our stay with the Kids much conveninent. The location of the apartment is excellent within close proximity to the shopping area of Estiqlal in Taksim and also metro/trump stations. The hospitality of the management was handled with excellent care by Mr. Takin and his team.
