  We chose this hotel solely for its proximity to the train station, and found that it exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly (even brought us a free cup of tea as we sat out in the garden one afternoon), spoke good English, and helped us communicate with our car rental company as we struggled to get the car turned in on time. Clean and modern facilities, we were even able to do some efficient hand laundry in the spacious - We stayed here because of its proximity to the Izmir airport -- and it did turn out to be very easy to drive to the airport from here. I was a little concerned because the Lonely Planet guidebook had warned against this neighborhood, but it was totally fine (we walked around) and the hotel was perfect -- modern, minimalist, obviously meant for businesspeople, but very welcoming to my family.   A very nice place for a short stay in Izmir, located in the perfect central location, just few steps from ancient Agora. Very easy to get to other places from there. Personnel is friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely spacious. However, the interior is a bit oldish, but you will get anything you need, even sleepers. Not all taxi drivers will be able to find this tiny stree - The staff there were very friendly and kind. They gave us good impression of Turkey! We can have breakfast under the big lemon tree!
