A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

The wifi worked well and the kitchen and bathroom were fine. The location is quite good near to Istiklal street.

Great place to explore Istanbul! We had an excellent stay at Pera
Apartment Hotel. The building is recently refurbished in a stylish
manner. The apartment was modern, fully furnished and nicely decorated.
The sleeping and living rooms were in the perfect size. The apartment
was exactly as described and scrupulously clean. Kitchen area was great
and fully equipped. Having a dishwasher is a great bonus Excellent
