  As we stayed at Akin Suites for a week plus 2 more overnight stays during trips through Turkey, this became our special little home. The staff are really welcoming and helpful, the suites are fresh and spacious and have kitchens, a sitting room, and the all important item while travelling- a washing machine! The close by market area of Kadikoy is great fun and w - Clean and cozy place in a very active area ..close to a lot of restaurants and coffeeshops . 2 minutes away from sea transportation ( it took us 15 minutes to reach the European side!! ). The owner was so welcoming and friendly , he did every thing possible to make our stay comfort .he gave us a discount too :)

  Fantastic welcome, staff always available (including at 6am to order a taxi), v reasonable, clean, nice room. Orkatoy has lots of shops/restaurants. Not too difficult to get to town centre (bus 25e to Kabatas or dt2 to Taksim square, then metro to Sultanhamet (or ferry from Kabatas). 30 minutes top. Avoid commuting between 4-7pm anywhere in Istanb... hva folk sier » ul, it's mad!! Buy an Istanbulkart (staff will show you where) and upload with whatever you need, it's 2 tl per trip anywhere. We also visited Uskudar - Ortakoy Pasha Konagi has a great location, very close to the bridge and sea. We were in building with no reception, which gave me the feeling of living in the flat which I loved so much. Great neighborhood, amazing food, wonderful place for walking, and even shopping but more relaxing and enjoyable than other parts of Istanbul I've been. Good connection of public transportation if you want to see more of the city. Internet connection is great, place is clean. I would definitely stay here again.

  Cosy hotel with super friendly personal. Very helpful and really professional. We had a street view 403. Although the streets were very busy and noisy, you could close the windows and it was very quiet. Cenrally located, walking distance from the port and lots of restaurants. Few minutes per taxi to the Metreocity mall. Especially Memet, Nayeeb and all the other reception and even security people who were always smily and friendly.
