1) First of all, I would like to mention the price, which is pretty fair. This is the main reason why I recommend Antalya to my friends.
2) To my amazement, I found that virtually no one speaks English in Antalya. The hotel staff was a lucky exception. But in the streets, shops, taxi it was terrible. I simply had to use gestures to ask something.
3) It seemed to me that the locals don't know anything. When I asked something in the street, I rarely got an answer. Once, I needed to go to the bank

I may be being a bit generous in rating, but I had just come from a string of hotels with the same average per day cost which were very, very bad. Candles house was excellent for the money. It was a little hard to find with a car, but once we got there we got a good welcome by staff and the pet animals, our room was very well presented, there was a TV and a hair dryer all as advertised, it all just worked. The hotel was tastefully decorated and the staff were very friendly ad helpful, I would definitely stay again and totally recommend it to anyone.
