  We absolutely loved Zara. We paid extra on arrival and upgraded to the double pool villa for two nights as it was vacant, but then as it was booked out we thenmoved to villa 10 (grand plunge pool villa). We loved so many things about Zara. As there are only 12 or so villas in the resort, most of the time you don't see any other guests. The pools in the single villas are quite sma - This was without a doubt the best resort we ever visited in all our travelling abroad. The garden in which the villas are situated is awesome and right by the sea. This resort is excelent for people who prefer privacy, yet 20 meters walking and you're on the beach. In your private garden by the villa you would think you're alone in the jungle. Every detail of the resort is beautiful. The staff is amazing.   the hotel overall is very unique in terms of the way it looks. It is defiantly different from any other hotel. It's very colorful and nice. Staying there was an experience by itself. It has a road to the beach and town but being located on a hill makes it hard to go and come back from the beach. The breakfast was the best we had in Thailand. Very comfortable bed and good air conditioning in the room. A peacefull place to unwind only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the nightlife and beach. Highly reccomeded.

  The hotel is on Lamai beach, in the north side. They offer the swimming pool, the chairs for the beach and the towel for free. Note that the facilities at the swimming pool are in good conditions, while the chairs at the seaside are mainly broken. A good advantage is that you can have free, clean towels for the beach/swimming pool daily.
