  The resort is about 2 mins drive from the centre of lamai and the owners Dave and Paul happily drive all the guests to and from town. Nou and El are both superb and extremely helpful. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. - Very clean and comfortable, really nice personal service. great pool and bathing area.

The pillows and bed were the most comfortable I have slept on in Thailand, I was ill for a day upon arrival,and spent the better part of a day in bed. You cannot believe how they pampered me. We paid extra on arrival and upgraded to the double pool villa for two nights as it was vacant, but then as it was booked out we thenmoved to villa 10 (grand plunge pool villa). We loved so many things about Zara. As there are only 12 or so villas in the resort, most of the time you don't see any other guests.
