  The hotel has a very large common pool and also two private pools that have direct access to certain rooms. We stayed in a room that had access to the private pool and it was perfect. There room was very clean. If you stay at this hotel you must go to Thai Cat, a restaurant that is next to the hotel on the beach. The food there was amazing, the be... hva folk sier » st we had in Thailand. - We had a hotellroom with poolacess, it was so nice! The room was big and clean! Nice breakfast with many choises. To get to the beach its a walk thrue the hotelarea, takes about 3 minutes. Long beach is a wonderful beach!!! Go to Thai cat and Sayang at the beach for good food, and "nextdoor" to the hotel at the beach is lovely Country bar!!

  The location is really nice, next to a lovely beach, with a pool and some deck chairs to sit back and relax. Room was big and clean. The staff is amazingly charming and polite. Nice day-trips and motorbike rental. - I think it is a charming hotel in a fabulous location. I never tried the restaurant but it sadly always seemed empty.   We really enjoyed our stay at the Ancient Realm. Having stayed a few nights on a more developed beach farther north before our stay here, we really enjoyed the serenity that awaited at Ancient Realm. Although our previous place was directly on the beach, we still spent a good part of our days there on the motorbike exploring the island.   Got a great deal, paid around £25 a night, excellent value for money, we have been comparing everywhere on the rest of our travels to here! Maid service every day, massive comfy bed, very clean, friendly staff especially Mal. Highlight was the well sized infinity pool looking out over the beach and sunset.
