  Our room was fantastic, (room 1101) It had a huge bed and massive sliding doors that pretty much lead you straight onto the pool, which was lovely, clean, water was warm and there was a shallow part to just sit in! Was really impressed with the bathroom, best we've had in the whole of Thailand, really modern. The staff were excellent, always had a... hva folk sier » big smile and couldn't do enough for you. They helped us arrange a taxi to the pier to get a boat to ao nang. The hotel is about a ten minute walk fr - Cleaned everyday with new towels and a bottle of water. Spacious room and nice pool area. Also very close to good priced restaurants, shops, places to book tours and 5 min walk from Kata Beach. All very good for the price.

  Looked for the closest hotel to the beach, its a decent modern franchise hotel. (Anyway renting a scooter solves the distance problem in Thailand, cheap, and fun.)   We particularly liked the friendly welcome and attitude of Dario and his staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we were recommended good places to eat, The Thai Kitchen was excellent and very good value!! The pool was a welcome place to cool off after a day on the beach, y - The staff was amazing at all times. Extremely kind staff helping us with everything like taxi driver, daytrips etc. Very good breakfast, bike rental from the hotel was very comfortable. Got a free upgrade to a deluxe room while waiting for our standard room to be available at the back. 10 minutes walk from Kata beach, 15 from Karon. Shops and restaurants are right by. Small clean pool and jungle right by. Rich birdlife. Very relaxing atmosphere, highly recommended!
