Excellent location - really close to the train station, at the end of the backpacker strip so lots of options available nearby but it's not right in the middle of it. The bridge is just about walkable, and it's not far from the main road which sees regular shared songthauws. For the price, great. Location is exactly where letsbookhotel.com has it, don't try searching the address as google won't find it!.
alle vurderinger » My second time at Thai Guesthouse. There is something really great about this place. Pick up from bus station for free (and return). Room spacious, TV and wifi working properly. Owner very relaxed but efficient and helpful at the same time. Loved it there!!!!. Thai guesthouse is clean, located on town center the A/C works perfectly and the Wifi too. In a short walk we acess to the river, all bars and restaurants. we book at letsbookhotel.com just 1 night but we stay 2 night more very relax guesthouse. Big room and bed, well equiped and very clean. Good Wifi, parking...etc...recomendable. The lady that managed my check in upon my arrival in the evening did an excelent job! (She was probably a 8 years old daugther..). Very centric. This was the best guest House we stayed at in 2 weeks. It was beautifully clean, and the owner was very kind and hospitable. Despite being just off the main road it was very quiet and we slept well for the first time. 3 time in this Guesthouse.It's perfect....clean,comfortable,nice and polite owner,quiet but dogs noisy during the night,near the river Kwai,near shops,restaurants,coffee shop. Bathroom a little grubby and tired, as is the room, but nothing majorly bad, especially at the price. Local bars can be a bit noisy at night if having a live music night, but not too bad with the windows closed & the aircon on. May be a little bit noisy in the morning due to a farm-like enviroment...:) Not a problem in my case as I left early. Nothing. Noisy dog during the night. On the expensive side for a single traveler. Hard bed. Main road is little bit noisy at night. The loud music from a bar behind the hotel went on into the early morning - seemed noisier at the weekend, but obviously this is beyond the control of the guesthouse owners. breakfast was poor, we think their not used to people having breakfast there. Barking dogs next to the room, not for a quiet night's sleep. Common problem in thailand though. Nothing, everything was great!. not many parking car. no breakfast. bad smell in the bathroom. The smell from the pipe in the bathroom is really bad so it needs to be shut for the whole time while staying. As in almost all S.E Asian hotels the floor is clean. If you raise your eyes you'll find it's NOT clean. Lots of spiders and moths in the ceiling area. Lousy quality of linen and towels. TV signal was crab.
