In terms of accommodation, the bungalows are fantastic value for money. It is a basic set up, with just enough room for a massive double bed and TV. The bathroom does only have a manually flushing toilet, but this is common throughout Asia and was not a problem for me. The showers do provide hot water, which for me was a big bonus as I have been use to cold showers!

We stayed at Comon bungalow 4 days and we felt so lucky we found this
place. Comon and his partner, Sanya created that warm feeling of being
with friends, they helped us around with precious advise on what to
do/see on the island, they shared with us local knowledge about Ko
Phangan and Thailand generally. Comon played the guitar one evening for
us, including a song written by him:) He is a very talented person and
fully dedicated to his guests. The room we stayed in had ac, was clean
and spaci.
A wonderful atmosphere, excellent service by a friendly and hospitable host, who provided us with a wealth of information and advice about the Island, where to eat, what to see, what to pay for things and so on. The bungalow was clean, likeable and everything worked well. The location was great, with a nice view out to sea, but far enough away from the party areas to allow us to keep to ourselves if we so wanted. An excellent restaurant right across the street. Highly recommended for a travelle.
The owner of the bungalows is so lovely we felt so welcome the minute we arrived. She is very friendly and will tell you lots of info about the island. The bungalows are close to the beach and in walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. The bungalow was nice and clean we were at the top with views over the sea. We were very sad to leave and would go back again.
Sounds like I'm repeating every other ppls' comments, but Sonya really is a fantastic host to stay with in Koh Phangan. On this island there were so many ppl who tried to grab money from our wallet, the stay with Sonya in Comon Bungalow really cured my bf and me every night. Most importantly, the way she treats life, such a positive and happy woman, inspired me a lot.
Sonya is extremely friendly, chatty and helpful. She made us feel right
at home from the moment we arrived and we felt like family by the time
we left! The room and bathroom/showerroom are comfortable and clean
with a little balcony and hammock for relaxing. All in all a great,
budget friendly, cosy, familiar place that we would happily visit again.
Siranya was the sweetest woman and guest house owner I met in Thailand,
really funny too. Facilities were amazing, clean, relaxing, inviting.
The view at the top bungalows from the hammock were spectacular. I want
to go back. She took good care of my friend who fell ill the time we
stayed there. Above and beyond her job. Miss her.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner Sonya is very Friendly and funny.The Bungalows are clean and Very nice.In the evening you can sit on the terrasse including a hammock.You get more than you expect.
Sonya helped me a lot and she is very easy going to deal with. I strongly recommend this place to stay in Phangan Island.
Absolutly the bungalow and the owner is awesome. Sonya is like a mum and she always is helpful. It was amaizing.
Very good bungalow. Landlady was very friendly and nice. Bungalow was nice and clean :-). It was nice and quite place near to chao pao beach. Good to sleep in. Friendly people. Good room with small terace. You have free internet and TV.
You can rent motobike there for reasonable price and drive around. There is hot water in the bathroom. Nice place all in all. There is nice bar nearby.

Personally, nothing! I would only advise that the bungalows are located on a rather steep slope, so you have to be fit to get your way up to the guesthouse!.

Not much not to like :).
The bed was very hard but nothing we couldn't put up with for a few days.
There was nothing not to like. I guess the water shuts off after to long
a shower, but I take long ones :) it was my fav place to stay. Since we go couple a times a day to main village Tong sala it was a bit far from that place. Otherwise it is Ok. There are two small markets near by.
Instead of a bungalow deluxe I got a room,no balcony. 3 meter from the
main street, rooms are with bamoo walls .. this means it is very loud.
Also there is a bar nearby with live music till 3 am. I could not sleep
two nights and left even I paid for 4 nights. Unless you sleep during
the day .... dont book it.
