Offering modern, tastefully styled rooms in a traditional chalet, this BnB can be found 300 metres from the Wilderswil-Dorf bus stop. Most rooms have a mountain-view balcony or terrace and a flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is available and you can park your car on site for free. With at least 28 m² in size, the rooms at BnB Chalet Gafri are very spacious. They come with elegant stone floors with underfloor heating, a seating area, a safe and a refrigerator. Each unit also have a private bathroom with a shower and provided with a hairdryer and a make-up mirror. There is a shared laundry and ironing facilities, and a shared kitchen can be used on request. Tea and coffee are available for free at the Gafri chalet. Gluten-free and lactose-free products are available for breakfast. On request, the property offers a free transfer from the Interlaken or Wilderswil train stations to the hotel. The centre of Wilderswil and the Wilderswil Train Station can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The Wengen Ski Area is 10 km, the Mürren Ski Area is 14 km and the Grindelwald Ski Area is 17 km away.

My husband & I stayed with Fritz & Gabi in June for a week. The chalets are beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is just on the edge of Wilderswil away from the main road but within easy walking distance of the centre and train station, it's a perfect base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Fritz knows the area intimately having lived and skied there all his life. He is incredibly helpful planning days out and making the most of the area. Gabi is a great cook and breakfast was.
alle vurderinger » Gabi and Fritz are very nice people, very friendly and helpful. We have planned our 2 days according to suggestions by Fritz and it turned out to be 2 perfect days for us. Fritz also tried to book a ski course for us which we have highly benefited. Building and room is pretty new, very clean and comfortable. Location is also very convenient, close to Interlaken, close to mountains, ski areas and to railway station. Breakfast is good with home made jams and bread from Gabi. We also had chance to. Very clean and comfortable room which would beat many 3 star hotels. Breakfast was very good and our host Fritz was available during breakfast for local knowledge and weather forecasting, which was spot on. Fritz and Gabi were wonderful hosts and could not do enough for us. A top class BnB/hotel. Also, Wilderswil is a lovely location close to Interlaken and with fabulous integrated transport and the Jungfrau/Bernese Oberland area is unbelievably spectacular. thanks Fritz & Gabi you are the best spacious rooms with super excellent view, well furnished & well ventilated cable TV with top of Europe live streaming to judge weather before visiting will be helpful around the corner a small river you can hear it from the room location very close to interlaken by car & away from interlaken noises. Almost everything! It is hard to find fault with the exceptional service provided by Fritz and Gabi. Our private parking is only a few steps from our room, and the view from the balcony is breathtaking! The room itself is spacious, as the kids have their own bed and place to roam around. The hotel itself is quiet, suitable for total relaxation. Everything. The place is great you will love it, the owner Mr.Fritz is so helpfull ,friendly, and honest. You feel home and relaxed, free parking free internet and open kitchen till 22:00. You can do your laundry with cheap price (5 CHF per load). Highly recommended. Fritz family makes better place to stay at even that we stayed only one day They are very helpful, welcoming and ready to assist you at any time The place is very good with kids Breakfast is amazing and up to the standard Really thank you Fritz Family. Every thing was great. Every thing. Every thing. The weather!! But no criticism of BnB Chalet-Gafri or Wilderswil/Interlaken. Nothing totally Nothing. The only room of improvement that I can think of is about the internet connection. It keep on disconnected. If it is sunny day then i think the room especialy 1st floor get warm, 1st floor room was not that private, who walks outside ur room esp at night when light is on then might see you, unless u switch off the light. Noises from other room due to I think the wall itself Also there was little bit sewer smell. None. Breakfast cold be better with more choices to offer. I like everything if I come again to interlaken i will stay in gafri chalet. Difficult to think of anything:). Be aware when booking the 'budget room': you stay in a small room in the owners' basement (not in the chalet you see on the pictures). For CHF140/night we were a little disappointed. nothing ,but i wish the bathroom be more private :-). Nothing. Every thing was great. Nothing.
