  The hostel has been completely renovated and everything seems brand-new. There is a fully appointed kitchen and communal dining room with dishes and cutlery. Some food and drink is available for purchase at the dining area but a grocery is 200 metres' walk away, as are half a dozen hotel/restaurants. The village is calm, quiet, peaceful, and th... hva folk sier » e hostel is ideal for families; we felt very happy to be there, and the twin proprietors were polite, helpful, and friendly. - We weren't quite sure what to expect as we had not stayed in a hostel before. No problems though - the rooms and facilities were exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our one night's passing stay. Excellent.

The staff, though he had very limited english, but so helpful when I said I needed to catch an early train and helped me arrange my schedule. He also gave me a private room instead of the dorm room that I booked.
