  Note: this is a Ibis hotel, not a luxury resort; if you know what to expect it is a comfortable, reasonably priced (for Switzerland!) hotel to stay for a couple of nights. Breakfast was good. - We're familiar with the "minimalist" Ibis hotels so we were surprised by the very nice Styles facility. This is something brand-new for Accor and they deserve compliments for doing such an all around good job.

  Staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. Walking distance from the train station, right across from tourist information center, and walking distance to all of the sights of Lucerne. The breakfast at Monopol was great and was included with the room, which was a nice change from the other hotels billing me for everything I even thought ... hva folk sier » about eating or drinking. I got a very good rate on my stay and the hotel room was clean and the hotel itself was very pleasant and had a lot of char - friendly and efficiently staff. Best location next to the main station. A few minutes to the old city. Breakfast is very good. Wide range of English television channel. Very quite room in spite of close to main road and station. Good supermarket nearby. Right opposite to Business School Of Luzern. Plenty of good restaurant nearby. Rooftop bar at the adjacent Monopol hotel is a must for cocktail (great view!). We plan to stay here again.

  We booked a 3-person room. The suite had in fact space for 4, with the kids sleeping on a pull-out couch in the TV-room. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh stawberries and blueberries every day, Birchermuesli and Swiss cheeses and cuts. Nice to to have the same standard ham and eggs everywhere! They gave us a room with a large terrace which was perfect for our dog. The hotel is a quick 5 minute drive from downtown Lucerne and the family restaurant in the hotel was good was no more expensive than retaurants downtown. The parking and in-room internet were actually free and the playground was perfect for our daughter. - Everything was really perfect. The location of the hotel is very convenient for those who would like to visit Lucerne. The personnel is very polite, helpful and also very flexible. Our room was comfortable for 4 persons and it was really clean. The breakfast was also good. Good value for money!!!

  The location is just brilliant: a nice pedestrian square just a short walk away from the train station and within walking distance from all the main activities in the city. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. - Right in the heart of the Luzern's Old town, great atmosphere and so convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Approx 10 minutes walk from the railway station.   Hotel Magic is run by the people at Hotel Krone who are extremely nice and have an excellent breakfast spread. Second time I've stayed at Magic. Kind of fun even though some of the rooms don't have the greatest view, however some are great. Clean and private.Overall 8.5/10. - Very individual hotel and great location to see everything in Luzern!

  We appreciated that we were able to check into our room early following an overseas flight. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious enough, and there was a fan.   The owners were very hospitable and went out of their way to help us with travel information, booking taxi etc. The breakfast was of good quality.
